That is a project I have been collecting parts for a year now. Looking good
-
That is awesome!
If I send you a seadweller crystal could the coating be done on this as well?
-
-
Yes! I almost overlooked that fact. This is one source of parts I would hate to loose. As it is a lot of the 16800 parts are becoming very, very scarce and I fear they've caught onto us
-
Gen movements can be had for 1000-1600 and figure a service just to be safe
-
@Alli,
Yes, you are correct, however, you can always modify the 3035 case to make the y3135 fit. The stem alignment is not the issue. The DW dilema, I am so willing to do a group buy for the open 6/9 DW with the 3135 orientation. Specially if gen construction. I have a gen 3035 date wheel that I don't/Can't use. The other one is actually a 3135 DW with open 6/9 and rounded 3s, but i have to work on the fitment to the y3135 movement. Finals are done this week and i will be able to catch up on builds and some comparisons I wanted to do.
-
Gen serviced will be the ideal choice but a serviced Yuki is just as good. My y3135 has been running strong at +/-6 seconds a week for the past 6 months.
By the way, I cannot let You clip the feet of that dial. Its just too nice a gen dial to do so.
-
That dial I got from DW when he still had the decent print. After seeing Eric's black dialed 7031 I knew I wanted one.

I like my dials to have character. My 16610 gen T dial and hands still glow after all this time. I just can't see it until my eyes get used to the dark(like when I wake up at 4a.m. To walk my dog)

This is home for sure.

Take it from someone who has purchased a few times from him, wait for a pair around here or VRF.

Electric shavers are like a damn cheese grater for me. I wish I could though
-
I use straights, but never use it against the grain. Some people tend to ha e sensitive skin. Shaving for me it's never a pleasure(thank military school for that) but I tend to like the straight edge better. The quality of the blade does impact the experience tremendously.

That thin case looks sooooooo good.
Once I get settled and get my tools and parts out I will start my build.
CC, you're inspirational to say the least! That watch is too damn sweet!

This [censored] is not enough

If you ever want to sell that Minh case for a Tudor build cause type thing, let me know brother.
Looks awesome!
-
I think I remember that. I believe it carried over to the Seiko&casio forum
It would be a shame not to reuse the case
-
I wanted to know if anyone here has a good resource or knows someone that can do micro welding on lugs. I have a wm9/BK case that I bodged the lugs on last year. I want to get the outside repaired and use this for a Frankenstein project X type build. Thanks in advance.
-
That looks very, very nice
-
If you look at the bottom of the case, you cannot see the HEV parts at all, or a small cutout for it. :@

Gen bezel assembly or wire spring?

I have a sub-c case laying around that I would love to make a
Project X out of. No crown guards and all
