  1. I liked my Seiko with the Domed crystal specially when diving, the dome made it easier to read time at an angle under water without moving the wrist too much. The dome almost gave the the dial a good 20* of play which worked out great underwater. Thanks again Mel

  2. Can't really make up my mind as to what watch to wear today, so I'll wear Dad's... miss him every day, gone since 2007. He'd gifted me this watch after college, 2003.

Genuine Datejust 1603, late 60's or early 70's, I put the green dial on.

Drinks to your dad in the better place he's at!

extreme beveling, its the new reality show

Oh my! D is getting some serious curves there!!

D, your backlog has to be huge now!

    Looking good.

  3. Now I wonder what a 6542 GMT version of this would look like. At that point it's all fantasy. Get a decent gilt dial print, any custom hands and use a + crown or maybe even Adrian's 700 crown to build that or with newer rivet bracelet. Hmmmm

  4. The case can well be a heavily mod'ed 114060 case. The rehaut engraving is a possible tell. I am one of humble beginnings, even if I could just drop 25k on a watch, I would much rather spend Less than 1k and build something to my unique taste and save the rest. This is just me of course.

The combination of parts and overall design are great, but not unique.

  5. What's the specs on that Ephry

MBW case "fingered" by me (softer bevels, CG work, rimmed and beveled lug holes, etc... The case back had an issue and I took care of that as well. All gen gaskets where needed

Gen insert, Athaya pearl (the gen pearl just didn't look right somehow)

Gen retainer, MBW spacer/spring and ST bezel( I know right?)

Athaya 702 crown and tube (originally had the gen parts installed but switched to this setup and I quite like it, plus trip-lock works. May switch to a 700 if I get the right parts

    Gen spec T19

    MBW dial

TC and ST hands ( I have changed the hands a few times)

Asian 3135 signed 2836-2 clone with the two step keyless cover for that lovely two-step action as per gen. Modified as low beat using an eta 2840 as a donor (for the parts and keyless cover)

I think that is it, still on the hunt for a semi-decent 93150 bracelet to use with my gen 93150 clasp, or maybe even a 9315.
