  1. My wife hates this method, but they're my knifes dammit! Eric, by any chance do you have any 6263 leftover bezel for sale?
  2. Try DW for the Clapton dial
  3. The bezel gets pressed in around the crystal. Which bezels are you swapping?
  4. Little paneristi concoction I made a week ago. While waiting for parts for the 666 builds. the lume on this thing is insane! Very nice 'tona Tabularasa!
  5. It's gorgeous! Thanks Nanuq. E
  6. Perfect condition, you mean almost perfect? Just giving you shet man. It should be ok for you open the back and at least assess what the issue could be.
  7. Details please? WOW
  8. That was bad of me. Missed the quote breaks. E
  9. Open the case back and see if the two movement holder screws are intact. Sometimes these brake off and jam inside. Easy fix for any watchmaker. Good luck. E
  10. That's what building but still need the black bezel. E
  11. Wearing a Russian piece today. Kinda liking it.
  12. Red, The more I see that dial the more I like the idea of it. That thing is like blue velvet cake! the overall effect of the watch is superb. E
  13. The Clark's pearl is not bad, specially if you get lucky. The insert won't fit without a bit of sanding on the outer edges, but the inner diameter is fine. E
  14. There you go Justin E
  15. That is what I thought. I would love to spend more time there, preferably in the late Fall. BTW, you always have such great pictures! E
  16. Thanks M. The dial aging may need a little new tweaking but I'm quite happy with it. What city are you in?
  17. Ok, I could resist, but why???. I put together the parts and still missing the right movement with the 45min gears and a stem to fit the crown. I used a good working 7734 movement I had laying around and slapped the case together. Man oh man I love the case and overall wearability of the watch. The black dial definitely looks good to me. Right now on a grey/olive NATO from my old 5517. All seals are lubed. Crystal is glued to case and bezel was slightly circular brushed. I think I cut the minute hand too much but I'm getting the yuki set soon anyways. Oh, yes I know it's reading 8 for the day, but kinda hard to change the date without a stem lol. W0of! Is that gen or yuki? Man oh man! Looking good.
  18. I need to find a case or whole watch first. God I need a better job! Lol
  19. Being a firm believer in the contrast of red and black, maybe taking design queues from Tudor in their monte Carlo series for the subdial colors would work. All black dial and sundials divided into 5-10-15 intervals. Shades or red, orange an yellow markers would work very well in an all black watch. I have to agree with Rizzo also, an all strike or semi sterile dial will be sweet as well. Ok, how much for the PVD service of the case? E
  20. The sweep chrono hand should definitely be either red or orange. I love the way has is. I may have to get a 212 or alike to do something like this to. Heck the Firenze company should do something like this
  21. Looks awesome! Perfect watch for every day or going out. Enjoy it and wear it well. E
  22. Seagoing, which hands did you use for the build? Looks really good. E
  23. He's probably the bastard that outbid me by 5 cents! lol. I have a nice gen 9315 bracelet missing 9 center links lol E
  24. Speaking of which, where does one get the replacement center links? E
  25. Looks really good. It's though to open the links, but doable. If you're 100% sure on how to do it, I'm sure someone can help around here.
