  1. I think that Venus and 7750 are not good. Poor dial, case, movemente ecc.. If you really desire a very good 6263 or 6265 buy a case as it in photo for $ 500, a movement Val 72 $ 250, an aftermarket dial for v72 $ 200- 300 and band, hands ecc.. and you have a perfect vintage for 1100- 1300 .
  2. Very intresting for me, good.
  3. Very good. Have you had problems in order to insert the dial gen in the fake? Thanks
  4. The cg's aren't perfect but overall I find this very, very good. And pray tell what's wrong with the date font? Looks good to me.
  5. The dial is not good, for my. Ebay Photos is not very good but at my eyes this dial is not more detailet than original TW dial of Trusty, Perfectclones, Conveni.net ecc... Dear friend, price of a GEN Rlx dial is $.500/600. A good aftermarket relumed on Gen base $ 200/300/400 Cost Ebay dial is $ 30/60.For little dollars that what can you buy?. I can mistake but why to risk yours money ? In ebay there are great transactions but also great scams
  6. I do not want to indicate as "defect" an error (for example a number more often or moved etc
  7. EXP II rep is a honest rep, all the exp from usual RWG sellers I think are identical, The two greater defects are the dial and the date font Is very difficult to find to dial for an Expl II is more easy to find a Exp I or Exp II Vintage (if beautiful, hog price !!) I would wait for if in future TW
  8. I have your problem: I have modded a vintage GMT and here I want to realize a modern GMT I am thinking which watch to use like base. Perhaps the best is to use a standard TW ETA for $ 200 + aftermarket dial & gmt hand+ aftermarket bezel & bezel insert + gen band. The problem is the glass, it must have the laser crown nearly invisibile But the final price of this modding is hig, perhaps is preferible to realize a vintage. If it pleases to you to a GMT "out of the box" you buy a a Precioustime/Eddielee ecc.. and you replace bezel whit a after as Clarks Watch Parts , or othrt economic ! You have a honest watch so similar to Gen. Attention ! Bezel + bezel insert, non only insert (see pic) Ps: MBW? I have emailed the MBW GMT seller (TTK) but I have not never had answer. It does not appeal to me to a seller who makes itself to wish too much
  9. Very good post. My contribution: I task that one of the most large defect of vintage MBW is the writing at six, it is too much long and touches the railroad of the seconds Is impossible to correct it without to replace the dial. See these photos of GEN
  10. The substitution of the crystal is the most difficult part of job. I have acquired the glass at the price of
