  1. Sorry, I forgot that links to PC just end up at the homepage. Here's the same watch from PT
  2. I do love a good rose gold dress watch and I've been waiting for a new one to arrive and looks like one arrived this month. New non-chrono Portofinos at Perfect Clones. I think it is a real looker in rose gold with the white dial, but the hands look a bit off Have a Look What do you think?
  3. Avoid Wholesaleoutlet whenever possible. I order a set of so called "Tudor Hands" and when they arrived the set was for an Aquaracer 200m. If you do feel the need to order hands from Wholesaleoutlet, order the GMT hand set.
  4. You could also try Yuki's hand set for Tudor, they come in both white and "vintage" lume. For around 10 USD you can't go wrong. I've used the white lumed hands before and they changed from white into a a light ivory color in about 4-5 months.
  5. Thanks Ubi, what actually causes this movement to be so problematic? I've read the thread where the movement was stripped down, but my I was out of my depth; my engineering knowledge is limited. Would one be alright if one does not use the chronograph function?
  6. I have a question regarding the problems surrounding the Daytona models with the seconds at six. If I were to replace the asian 7750, which automatic movement would be best suited for this "transplant" My first thought would be the Valjoux 7753, but on further reading, the seconds run at 3 for that particular movement. Could any of the Daytona pros help shed some light on this dilemma?
  7. There was a thread/tutorial about this, here's long/short of it: Remove the movement, dial and crystal Take sandpaper (starting with ~240 grain) and wrap it around a toothpick or rat-tail file start working at it Once most of the engraving has been removed increase the sandpaper grain until the desired finish is found. Put everything back in it's place and reapply crystal.
  8. I recall seeing a set on rouhelena's ebay store, but it was almost certainly for a 2836-2. Or you can just ask him/her, they are a member here; or even email them through their site. I've had a few special orders from them and their service and communication is excellent.
  9. I've been considering buying either a gen Sub or a GMT for some time now, the question I have is if I bought a model from before 1998 when Rolex switched to Superluminova; how long would the tritium last? The main reason for my asking is I do love the look and functionality of drilled lugs and they seem to have been phased out in the late 90s for most models.
  10. I'm simply in love with this watch, I've come close to finding a few similar models with some of the trusted dealers, but nothing with this exact model. The closest I've found is on Perfect Clones, it has the same dial, but it comes with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet, the bracelet is gold wrapped and very nice; but I'm a sucker for an oyster bracelet. Can anyone offer any guidance toward finding this beauty? http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_04kZGR_ltmE/TNVFkvVPaCI/AAAAAAAAIkA/4AHoz1HnyYk/s1600/Adam-Scott-Rolex.jpg
