On a UK tv prog ( Horizon ) last night they showed a yellow carved 'jewel' on the cask of Tut.... It was thought to be a rare stone but when tested turned out to be glass found in the desert after a meteorite hit the Earth and melted the rocks.......... So, was this the earliest rep ? And, it also struck me that I have been involved in reps myself........ 1981 to 1989 I worked as a service engineer for a firm that built electronic classical ( ie church ) organs, yes reps of pipe organs ! there's more........ The technical director was Hugh Banton, keyboard player for Van Der Graaf Generator ! a rep of a rock band Pete

having seen the pics in the other post on here my efforts look grim.... however, I'll ask anyway. In the first pic below I had the sun behind me and the watch looked fine ie I could see the dial, the camera however saw something completely differant, what can I do to correct this ? In the second I guess a tripod would have helped as the contents of the bottle in the background was surging around my bloodstream when I took it............ Or am I expecting too much from such a humble camera ? Pete

Apart from the timezones issue would it be possible to display , say on the home page or maybe in a special section, a clock with accurate minutes and seconds ( we should know the hour already where we live ) that we can set our watches against ? I don't know how accurate it would actually be though given the probs with propagation delays over the internet ........ eg these clocks are about 1 second slow compared to the 'sponsored by accurist' speaking clock in the UK ( dial 123 ). Hi, having posted pics of PT's dd in the dealer review section it seems the jubilee bracelet is an obvious flaw in this otherwise very nice watch. So...... Anyone know of a good source preferably UK for either a president or oyster 20mm Maybe one of you wants to swap with a jubilee with the new clasp.......... I've looked at Ebay but not found much and some looked really poor quality. :yucky: Any ideas ? Pete

Ok, this is my last go at this ( I asked twice above ) ............. I'm down 258 but so are many others because this game is munged. I'm not bothered about the money just the principle, the tax takes it faster than I can get it anyway.... Look at these stats, you can see everyone looses everything in about a minute because you can't play it and there's no way out without ditching your money.

I think the game SLOTS is broken. I went to it with 258 and none of the buttons worked I clicked on cashier and it went to the usual save option but with a winning total of -258, if you look at the stats for that game everyone lost everything and some lost 500 in less than a minute! that can't be right.......... Yikes, that was quick, too quick , I missed the trial......... Nb on the example site I gave, you only get 2-3 lines of text and no graphics, you have to open the message to see all of it. Thanks anyway Pete

On some forums if you put the cursor over a topic then a preview window opens to show the first few lines of the message, it's much quicker than opening the message. eg Put your mouse over a topic on the left....... Can this be done here ? Pete

I posted this in the links/referance section.... os60 pdfs you can find exploded views of the movement, I have a gen Cross Aphex that uses this movement. Cross watch with os60 Pete Cross NB no relation but you can guess why I bought the watch now......
