Watcher, you said the HEV is just there for looks and is not drilled through the case correct? If so, how is it attached? I surely hope it's threaded in the case and not just, god forbid, glued in the case??

The really sad thing is, yes this one has it's issues, but it's still the best rep of the16600 SD available......Is it better than the SSD of old? I'll leave that up to the experts to decide.

Do you have a way to test this for water resistance watcher? Or is there a watchmaker close to you that can test it? The dealers claim 100 meters W/R for this one, needless to say I'm skeptical....

Is TC going to sell these watches or is it going to be a long process to get one? I read somewhere he only brings back 5 watches at a time, that will take ages to satisfy the forum members needs! Years, I mean.... I would love to have one but I don't want have to wait a couple years to get it. The factories are finally getting better Rolexes reps w/superlume etc. so maybe they will eventually get the cases right?

If it says delivered I bet it was.....Some of the dealers use "runners" to pick the stuff up, chances are he'll ask around and find it.

The bottom one looks like $hit! The hands and dial markers suck.

I was just looking at the "new" SD on Trusty's site. They still list the SSD of old on their site too, after looking at the "old" pictures of the SSD listing I'm pretty sure they are using the old SSD product pictures for the NEW crappy rehaut SD.... Not the QC pics but the thumbnail pics for the new SD...

These also look like the EXACT same thumbnail pics that Josh is using on his Perfect Clones site to advertise the new SD too??

I've been buying from Josh for a long time but he's acting more and more like a scam site. Seems like every new watch he advertises is now "1:1, made from gen". I personally think that he and all the other dealers that are now doing this should be put on probation until they quit with all the lying and B. S.

Forums were founded to stop this kind of nonsense from dealers.

AMEN! Preach it brother! All this 1:1 crap or I:1 whatever they are trying to pull..... Seems like every new Rolex model that's come out lately on his site is 1:1 with "geniune watch dissected and used as sample" or "Best rep available" yeah right, this is getting old FAST!

Ingod is about the best option IMO. As far as the hour hand being bigger on the gen hands, I don't think anyone would ever notice that. It took me 2 years of Rolex collecting to finally realise the difference!

Agreed E, they discontinued one of the BEST models they ever made for that BEHEMOTH of a Deep Sea! Don't get me wrong I love the looks of the DSSD but it's too top heavy with that skinny, overtapered bracelet. The 40+/- mm size of the SD was perfect, and for those of us who don't like the cyclops---even better.

After all these years and the obvious ability of the china watch makers to make super reps why can't they get this right? There Should be no reason to have a wokky rehaut or even wrong CG's.

Why the hell can't they get just one Sub or Sea Dweller correct?? I personally think they do it on purpose. If they come out with "new and improved versions" every few months such as, V1 V2 V3 etc. etc. they sell alot more watches that way.... Good business if you're a Chinese rep maker.... F---er's.....

I think the blue lume is Superluminova BGW9....It's white in daylight and glows blue at night.

Like I said, I've already taken a hit for the team........TWICE! And neither are very good, well the rehaut is really bad but the case (other than the rehaut), dial, hands, caseback, etc. are pretty good. I'd say almost as good as the SSD of old..
