  1. Hey Big A, you need to look that guy up and show him what some real AP's look like!!  :good:  seems like he's in your neck of the woods. You can tell him to pick up a bunch of OEM straps, and if he doesn't like them, we'll be glad to take them off his hands for a "Slight" discount. ;)

Hey bro, it does seem like thats the case. I can trade him a book titled "Better Grammar Today Lesson 12" as well?

  2. That's the problem or hmm a good thing with Hublot... I have seen some at least i think is Gen with 3 divisions as well :g:

Yes mate the gens all got 3 sub divisions at the 6 o'clock subdials. The reps got 4. Not good. :(

  3. Or perhaps he's referring to beat rate?

So let's see, 3 "dots" represent 2 beats, and it took him 5 seconds to post it ... that's 18,000bph ...

So we've ascertained that it's a vintage necropost for starters......  :g:

Or perhaps he was simply insane. I wouldn't rule it out, its afterall RWG.

  4. Folex it's not complete but yes

Mate, what Folex meant is that you have not relumed the markers to the correct color as per gen.

Whats that? What color is that you ask? Why, its a bright gaudy yellow that is reminiscent of glowing bananas, tritum infused baby chicks and iridescent cheese.

OK just kidding.. might as well go the whole hog mate and do the white lume. Else you would get called out in a cinema while watching a movie and you know how irritating it can be to get your movie experience disturbed.

  5. He is a registered yellow hater !!! Every time he looks at a photo of an AP bumblebee he gets nauseated. If it were Orange, he would have two. At any rate enough ragging on Mr. A, That's a really nice FC diver, and I'm sure you will love it. I have one and it's one of my favorites, really like the light weight compared to the ROO's and even the S/S Diver.

Lol A, this is a relatively very short post you are putting up. Must have restrained yourself a fair bit huh

  6. wow Much respect my brother !!! Been there for 6 years soon halfway point of my 12 year contract

With the airforce in Denmark we start by signing a 12 year contract to make sure we aint leave haha but why Would we you know all about it ;) was in Singapore last year maybe i must get my ass back there to get a drink with a fellow winged brother

    :)!

And I shall look forward to meeting you sir. :)

  7. Hello everyone,

i was wondering, can i purchase a genuine audemars piguet straps and replace it with the rep straps ?

    Will it fit ?

    Thanks ;D

I do not really understand your question, but if what you meant was whether you could fit the gen OEM straps on the rep AP ROO and replace the existing straps (rubber or leather, not SS bracelet), then as my friend panerai153 above says, its a yes. In fact, its recommended if you could afford it. :)

  8. Its Always good to find a yet another one :) where did you serve ?

About the IFR exercise yes it was :)

The video was making a promo video to show in the tv to promote the airforce but never launched we did 10 videos and They picked another one :)

The video was awesome my winged brother .. brings back very fond memories of my own time served.

I was in the Republic of Singapore Air Force for 10 years and logged about 1,300hrs on the falcon.

How about your good self? :)

  9. Yes, indeed I do have a BBK strap, but the watch is a BBK too (my fault) so it certainly should fit. However, as I own as well HBBs as a BBK I just compared the original straps and they are 100% the same size anyway.

Anyway, I hope you have it sorted out with Donerix via PM.

I consider Eric to be a friend and I have ordered a few straps from him, all of which turned out to be of exemplary quality.

Inserts are not mandatory requirements when defining a strap as excellent. I think it is more a matter of personal preference.

Eric has also, on an occasion and at his own time and expense, rectify a strap for me that was made wrongly due to a wrong set of measurements which I have provided him.

I cannot find a strapmaker with better customer service, and the friendship grew from the business (not the other way!) :)
