Bro, you need to use ur punctuation. I kinda get your story, but find it hard to read. hehe. But yes, many gen owners don't know the exact details of many models and don't know what to look for. And with high quality reps as what we have, the construction is fairly good. But except, many details are not as well made. Like what you pointed out, the clicking noise probably does not sound as smooth. But then again, you get what you pay for, and gotta mod it to get the best out of it.

Congrats. Gorgeous piece. Wear that one well. Mr. Z has outdone himself.
yeah and I hate Mr Z too.

Come on, only 1 pic?!!
Hows the CF btw? Is it like the gen?
The CF bezel is very nice, and very close to gen. You would realise the CF pattern differs on individual watches, but in terms of finishing, its good and accurate.
Another quick review with a quick pic!
I got this one recently from a terrific forum member
What a great piece this is. In person, it is draws a lot of attention to say the very least.
The execution of details is phenomenal.
Cheers!!
hows your gold rush buddy

Hello Gents,
Here are some quick pics of my Zorrolondon modified AP Grand Prix Rosegold.
First off, in person this watch is STUNNING. It is hard to capture the essence of it with my crude photos here.
Suffice to say, this watch is really special in the flesh.
Paired with an OEM Grand Prix strap, this watch is over the top!!
A BIG thanks goes out to Zorrolondon!!
Please excuse the dust in the pics, the watch is in perfect condition.
I have two things to say: I hate you and I want one :D
Nice watch buddy!

I was thinking the HBB Evolution.. I was also looking at the GMT II what do you think?
HBB evo over GMT II for me, but thats just personal preference. For the HBB Evo, I would recommend you look at the one from Noob factory (not the latest superlumed version from H factory), because, although you do not get the superlume, you get the date font which is very very close to gen.
The HBB would certainly stand out over the GMT, in my opinion. Ultimately, its what you like most that matters.

Hello gents, I'm thinking of picking this one up during my gold fever spell. I have a spare AP Bands black Hornback that I'd like to fit to the watch. Wish I could find a photo somewhere online of this watch with a black Hornback.
lol does the "golden beast" and the RG GP not satisfy your gold craze yet my friend?

Mike,
as long as there are different opinions, there will be different voices. I suppose we all learn to deal with that in our own way

If you ever need the tone lowered then I am your man !!
I think from my own experience with GTHARN (when he posted his first issue with Lunarglide)... and going by his replies on that to me and the fact he would appear to be a Brit that he had a preconception of dealing and colecting in this hobby and his expectations werent either capable or willing to adjust to this very unique area of the hobby...
In not being able or willing to make that adjustment he reacted in what we and others would consider an inappropraite way...
This place needs some time to get use to... the game itself is difficult enough but when you throw in the diversity of this forum and the way we are all use to dealing with people here and how that varies in our own real worlds then what has happened here is an easy trap to fall into...even if you might be a nice guy..
This is a lesson to any guy new on here to read the guides, to get use to the place and the people and get use to how we interact with each other... as a community this is a great place to be and is shared with some fantastic blokes...and its a priviledge to be here and have the support this forum gives to us all as enthusiasts and collectors..
And as a priviledge these sort of guys should be aware that if they dont or wont make that adjustment then they arent welcome...
Just my pennies worth
PeteM matey
I have read a few of your posts in the past, and they tend to be intelligent, satirical occasionally, and well-written in terms of depth and observation.
Your pennies must be worth a lot more than the pennies of others.

Mike,
I think you are a good guy from your postings. Likewise for Hike. And occasionally, even between two decent fellas, sparks can fly because of a variety of reasons. Nothing that backing down a step each, being nice, and a nice cold beer won't solve.

I hope it works out, whatever the issue was, Mike.
I have had exchanges with both you and HikeUSA before, and I would have to say that you both are nice people to speak with.
Take it easy mate, here's one for you

Super Rep is something that is very accurate right out of the box. I was thinking a Pam, but I have two black face watches is the why I dont have one already. They are totally different and I do like them. My problem is they have so many different models I get lost in the numbering..
Why not try the Hublot Big Bangs then? or the latest Rolex Explorer II? They can be considered super reps under your definition.
