  1. I put it through an e-translator and here is the gook that came out...

He is that an to arrivar to the premises, was indeed the moment of opening for the new store of exclusive clocks Perpetual Time Pieces, where single are the best marks and the most exclusive designs of the planet; single used until now single by members of the Forbes list and the royalty. 2. I once tried to set my time clockwise, and the gears somehow misaligned and now it is unwearable. A really good rule of thumb is; whenever the watch is running never set the hands back - only set them back if it is stopped. If it is not running, setting it either way is fine. Understand that our rep movements are not quite as... lets say... resilient as their genuine counterparts.

    Don't take what I'm saying as pure fact.. I am only giving you advice from my experience. Theoretically, it should not matter either way.

  3. This is the time of year where I like to reflect upon the year. I started this hobby not too long ago, and now, one thousand posts later, I consider myself very passionate about wristwatches in general - all thank to RWG. I wanted to take this holiday opportunity to share some of the watches that have made me smile over the past year, and show you my collection of ten humble timepieces that I really love. And so I present to you;

  4. We need a guy like this up here... all of the watch repair people in my town are stuck up little ******

    Last one I asked to fix one of my watches yelled at me over the phone for 'taking away his business by buying cheap crap' and the others say they will fix it, but when I get to the store, 'we do not work on imitations'... crazy!

  5. It is a great rep. But it is a rep of a watch you can buy for under $2,000. IMHO, you might as well save up the money and get a warranty, proper lume, etc.

    It's a good thing I can't press the "agree" button more than once... because I would be pounding at it all day in response to your post.

    You said it friend. Reps of watches $2,000 are just useless, especially considering none are perfect and all have some flaw (either in terms of design or quality of assembly.) For that kind of money you can get the real thing and pass it down through your family with pride... creating a history and an heirloom in the process.

    Get a rep of a $15,000+ watch is much, much more fun. That's why I nominate the MBK Nautilus for best rep 2007...

    Most surprising has to be this Cartier Santos. I never in my life thought I would ever buy a Cartier watch, but this was a pleasant surprise. I bought it by accident because the Franck Muller I wanted was out of stock, but having already paid, I needed to pick something as a replacement. I thought "what the heck" and got this. It looks really good on me, and its definitely one of the more "believable" and "recognizable" piece in my collection. If I want to go somewhere and don't want to stand out from the crowd or look overly affluent, this is the timepiece I choose.

    Yup. It didn't long for me to fall victim to RWG's strong Panerai peer pressure. After weeks of protesting dislike for the brand, I went ahead and purchased this "valu" model for just $98. I love it, it's a great watch to strap on when there's bad weather or you're going to a place where you know someone will take pictures. It's just so... big... it really feels superb. The power reserve feature is something every single watch should have.... I love to know how much wind is left in the spring... its really great to be able to do so with this particular watch. And to think, I once called it "over hyped" and "ugly"! No way!

    Everything else I bought because I knew I would like it. The Patek Nautilus was a little hard for me, because of the price, but gosh you know it's really built solid. After a few weeks of wearing my Nautilus I tried on my sub, and the difference was catastrophic. The bracelet and clasp on the Chinese-built sub was just so light and flimsy... like it was held together with bubblegum and poo. The Patek Nautilus is like an American car from the 1970s. Tough, built to last, with everything fitting in the right place and a joy to look at from every angle.

  7. Can anyone share some pictures of this watch please?

    I'm very very curious at this point and if it looks good I maybe just maybe might have to get myself an HBB... with diamonds! Hopefully they will actually use "baguette" and different shaped (rectangles, squares) CZ crystals and not just all circular stones because circular stones exclusively would just look pretty dumb.
