Yes I have. But not 85% of the products/services I purchase have a glaring and obvious quality control-related fault. More than 85% of my rep watches do.

I hate to fight on behalf of our dealers... but their jobs are not easy... The extra funds covers things like returns, replacements, et cetera. I doubt that when we buy a watch that sells in china for $50 for $200, then the $150 goes into the dealer's pocket. Some of it, yes, sometimes maybe even most of it, but there are a lot more financial "loose ends" that need to be tied up with regards to safe distribution and law enforcement. Also, unless I physically see (using my eyeballs not my mind) an ETA inside the watch, just if some dealer goes "ETA ETA YES YES GOOD GOOD" I won't believe there is an eta inside.. sorry... these street vendors tell you what you want to hear and then run away faster than you can blink.. its like this *blink* and wham they're gone...

My wrist is 6 1/2 inches... I wear everything from 34mm Patek Calatrava to standard 37mm Datejust to 44mm pam to 49mm Omega XXL. On smaller wristed people, most watches look fine (especially with the current trend of bigger=better) Imagine one of these behemoth people with an 8''+ wrist trying to wear a calatrava... gosh... sub looks tiny on him! People with smaller wrists are luckier when it comes to watch availability imo...

Definitely won't be buying that anytime soon... gosh I would sooner get an HBB than that thing... ouch... who designed it? The same people who qc our reps perhaps... (blind people)

Sounds like a great time!! If there were more active people here from ott, ON I would like to have a g2g but I doubt that's ever going to happen... the interest of my local community are one of two things: hockey, or NASCAR. Neither of these involve watches

Regardless of the glaring fault it's still a very good looking watch. Yes, the mistake is dissapointing, but I think if you consider the amount of people in the world who would actually notice... I doubt this will stop you from enjoying it. Mont Blanc watches are something Iw ould never consider, but if I were to get one, this would be high on my list despite the mistake.

You must have very big arms! That's a massive watch and it looks small on you... I'm impressed. Though, remind me to never get in a fight with you. Have you considered a Railmaster XXL? I think it would look good on you. Your Hublot looks like a... Hublot... I guess. It's not my cup of tea, but I do admit its a very accurate homage to the original thing.

Ah - yours says "automatic" instead of "chronometer". All I can say is.. ouch. On another note MB should really update their website.

The subdial hands don't look quite pointy enough. But a more serious fault would be that according to the Mont Blanc site this color combination is not available for sale. And on a more obvious note the luminous stripes on the hour and minute hands are waaaaay too thick. but on a curious note are the lines between the "L - SWISS MADE - L" of unequal girth?

It's the finest watch I have ever owned, despite the apparent lack of any "bling factor" (except the brandname) which I usually like (even just a little) on my watches. Truthfully though, this watch has restored my faith in the replica market single-handedly. It is just that excellent. Most comfortable, most beautiful, its absolutely awe-inspiring how amazing this timepiece is.

Yep, I have this one... it is stunning to behold in person. It really glows and twinkles in sunlight. I bought it (oddly enough) because I'm always forgetting the calendar dates and it had a good layout to remind me. It is a very comfortable piece and it's just a pure delight to look at. These days I rarely wear it... but can you blame me when this arrived in the mail? This one is just a tad more "realistic" looking on my wrist... nobody notices it anyway... I love PP

If I was going to buy this watch I would choose the nymphomariner from Narikaa... but that's just me!! Why? -Great, reliable dealer with almost zero customs risk. -"nympho" is (I believe) the same as "noob" which is superior to "beginer" -No drop shipping, watch is inspected by a person who is not visually impaired before shipping. -More choices, including TT versions and even Yacht-Master. -Unbeatable price, even less than beginner. (So many versions of this one huh?)

While counterfeiting is bad for the majority of legitimate manufacturies, I think this gentleman's quote is a little extreme. Millions of starvation-related deaths in third world countries and no humanitarian relief in view of the future? I personally doubt any significant punishment will be inflicted upon the hello kitty lady... lots of pictures, lots of cops for the media blitz to satisfy hublot and then a quick deal and shes back making watches in (most likely) the same disorganized apartment block...

I have one of these watches, it is the Audemars Piguet Flying Tourbillon. I purchased it used from an owner who had it for two years, and accidentally smashed it against a toilet. He had it repaired, and sold it to me. It keeps very accurate time (COSC) and I have not encountered any problems/malfunctions as of today. It is a very dressy piece that gets a lot of attention from people who want a closer look. It really is fascinating to look at. It is unlike any rep money can buy. If you really want a tourbillon watch, get it from Narikaa because he will pick it up for you the next time hes in china and inspect it prior to shipping. These are gorgeous gorgeous watches and you certainly have to own at least one to complete the collection. Read my review of the tourbillon watch HERE.

This is the one I prefer. The others are wind-up, of course they are reliable, but I like the design of the modern version (~2001) and the "postmodern" version (2006+) is definitely not my cup of tea.

Well the strap is an absolute abomination but if fitted on a nice SS oyster bracelet this would be one truly breathtaking timepiece.

The same professionals who forgot to remove three giant pieces of dust from the inside of my pam? The ones who sent my a broken Rolex yacht master with gold that was peeling and non-working movement? Wait... you mean the folks whose every single submariner loses its bezel ring? Or is the ones who leave pubes inside their watches? Or those who somehow manage to send us destroyed watches on an almost weekly basis? 'cuz I doubt the fancy "factories" look any more professional and sterile than this despite the word "factory" eliciting feelings of many workers sitting behind tidy desks in white robes in giant white rooms ensuring precision in construction. The big rep-making factories are probably just taller/larger apartment buildings with more (in both meanings of the word here) disgruntled employees...
