  1. Navitimer in the following combination is always a recipe for success;

    Stainless Steel

    Subdials at 12:00, 9:00, and 6:00. So it look like

    Then you will not have the problem of the date recess and the watch will be very very accurate...

  2. here in DR 8/10 people just know Rolex and Cartier as "Expensive Watches"

    ...sounds a lot like Canada... :rolleyes:

    I would definitely recommend getting a Breitling Chronomat Evolution regardless. They have a high-polished bracelet, look extremely close to the original, and because its somewhat an obscure brand you won't have the trouble of getting called out. I wear a Navitimer, and I absolutely love it... Breitling has some very eye-catching pieces... but the steelfish superocean waterpark jellyfish is not one of my favorites...

    This grand complication masterpiece just arrived in the mail about an hour ago. It is a rep of the Jules Audemars Special Edition Tourbillon, a watch that retails for over a quarter million US dollars! :good: Did I mention it is also celebrity-owned? Perhaps you will recognize it from somebody here on the forums... anyone care to take a guess?

    I will be reviewing the piece in more detail later on... but suffice to say it inspired me to snap my first-ever wristshot:

  4. I think that, if you look hard enough, nearly every large chinatown will have fake goods. Of course, the majority of them will be hidden away... but if you flash a stash of cash ... you might just get lucky!

    In terms of watches, definitely the best place is to get them from our dealers. It's probably one of the most popular phrases known to our community, but the watches we have access to here represent about 1% of replica timepieces. Others vary between bad quality, terrible quality, atrocious quality, and a rare sub-category known to the un-privileged connoisseur only as "TTK's Face"... who knows...

  5. I think that, oddly enough, the 21 jewel PO will be more realistic as the genuine model has a 21J movement so the sweep will be dead on. If you slam a 25-jewel ETA inside, it will sweep almost too smoothly, if such a thing even is possible...

    About reliability. I have several watches that use 21J movements and all of them tell time better than my ETAs. I have never had an asian 21J movement arrive broken... never ever ever.

    I would say this is an excellent purchase and you will definitely enjoy to wear the watch! Not for me though... I do not want a rep of a watch that is inexpensive to begin with. That is why I adore my wrist with watches that retail for $10,000+... its just more fun that way!
