  1. Looks like watchfinder has found a watch! That looks exactly like my Aquaracer 300 with the exception of dial color. It is VERY hard to actually QC a watch with such limited photos but the actual task at hand is to determine if this is, in fact, the watch that you ordered. Other than that confirmation, you are limited to any obvious things like crooked batons, hands of incorrect color or scratches etc. Since there is nothing obvious to me about the condition or build quality of this pictured watch, then it would pass inspection. However, the TD should have provided another key photo of the screen of the testing equipment, with YOUR watch in the photo. Then you can see the tested performance of this watch. Many collectors reject on the basis of low amplitude or estimated loss of greater than say, 10 seconds a day. This link will be a good guide for you http://www.rwg.cc/topic/143934-how-to-read-timegrapher-results/ , assuming they sent you the test screen shot. If you decide you do not like it after it arrives, it is easy to sell it for a very small loss as buyers are eager to buy known and inspected entities. But you will have to take much better photos than these QC shots to sell something. Good luck with the watch.
  2. Thank you for the Welcome but the back is confusing. Have not been here before. wat44 must be thinking of someone else. Anyway, I like and I think that I will stay!
  3. PAM 187 or 005K seem to find their way to my wrist more than any other watch. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
  4. Hello to all lovers of horological detail and collectors of same. Thank you for allowing me to join your treasure trove of horological knowledge and opinions. I will attempt to contribute to that body of knowlege but you may find that all I have to offer is a skewed opinion. My collection has A. Lange & Sohne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, TAG Heuer, Panerai, Ebel, IWC, Maurice Lacroix, Audemars Piquet, Hublot and, of course, Omega; although it is dominated by Panerai. There are also some GENS among the group but it is becoming increasing difficult to buy a GEN when the quality of it replica is soooooo close. Over time I plan to add some of the more obscure brands such as Paul Picot, Chronoswiss, Cartier, Blancpain, Girard-Perregaux, Glashutte, Franck Muller and the list goes on and on. While I am currently in a very secluded location that is spectacularly beautiful this time of year, early spring, I have other places that I live throughout the year. That is both a blessing and a curse. It is not practical to transport my complete watch collection as I move, so I have a main collection in a secret location and watches distributed to other locations to wear when there. This way I can travel with just a couple of my favorites and still have a good rotation. Anal. I am a security freak and my collection is under the watchful eye of electronic surveillance including nine cameras and hidden laser trip lines. It is true that my security system actually cost more than my watch collection but that is life in the high technology lane. They do not make replica security systems as yet, or at least my security professional does not know of any that can compare with this monster. Anal. As a collector, I am eager to buy, sell and trade so hopefully we can do a deal at some future point. Thank you for letting me be part of your group. POWERMAX!!!
