Ok, So I have almost ended my search for Omega Planet Ocean Orange Chronograph 45.5 MM (Omega Model Number 2918.50.83) which is an older version with 3 subdials as follows : Apparently no TD has it in stock for the finest ultimate version by noob factory (with tighter subdial spacing, correct omega logo, 22mm lugs) Recently came across the site http://www.replicastation.net/omega-seamaster-planet-ocean-chronograph-swiss-automatic-orange-bezel-stainless-steel-bracelet.html?___SID=U which has this watch listed for an insanely high replica price (dont know whether in stock or not). So I want to know has anyone dealt with replicastation or can recommend about this sites authenticity. Plus this gives me an idea, that I have contacted all the TDs operating and shipping from china and none of them has noob factory stock for this watch, maybe because they dont keep local stock and get it from the factory upon an order, the factory according to them has stopped producing this rep (dont know why, even when the newer 2 subdial chrono version is so pathetic). So can you recommend some of the TDs from EU,UK,USA reigon, there can be a possibility that any of them might have kept it in stock and maybe I can find one in a reasonable price. Ok, So I have almost ended my search for Omega Planet Ocean Orange Chronograph 45.5 MM (Omega Model Number 2918.50.83) which is an older version with 3 subdials as follows : Apparently no TD has it in stock for the finest ultimate version by noob factory (with tighter subdial spacing, correct omega logo, 22mm lugs) So now everyone is recommending the following new Planet Ocean Orange Chronograph from AT Maker factory with 2 subdials (Omega Model Number 232.32.46.51.01.001). The Gen is as follows : However the rep which is mostly recommended and available with some of the TDs is as follows : As very correctly identified by the veterans , this new rep from AT maker, has major flaw which may or may not be noticeable to a lot of us when comparing with the gen. The subdial at 3 in the gen (check pictures in above) is a 12 hour counter, while in this new rep it is a 30 min counter. It may also have other cosmetic imperfections since I have not seen any member's review who has bought one and has posted the actual hands-on picture of this rep. So i want recommendations and advice from the gurus, that should I wait further for getting maybe a better and corrected rep from the AT maker factory, in which they would probably fix the subdial at 3, but would that be possible so soon in the near future or would take an indefinite time. Another thing I am not sure about is that, I wanted this watch in rubber strap, which was available for the older 3 subdial version, this new rep is only available in metal bracelet and leather strap. So can I assume that a rubber strap bought separately from any TD would fit in the lugs of this new rep. Given that my desire to own this orange beauty is quite overpowering, should I accept this imperfection, if that the rest of the watch is pretty spot on. It would be more of a personal decision to accommodate and compromise , but what would be community's view and advice on it. Any other guidance of still getting the older 3 subdials version with a rubber strap, if any of the community member is interested in selling, would also be welcome, although I am browsing thru the sales and trade section of the forum and apparently no one has the intention to do so. I have one very urgent salvage situation for which I need the recommendation about its possibility. Recently my tag carrera calibre 16 day-date fell off from my hand from some height when I was outside in a market. I bought it from tony, which is always a very supportive and customer focused seller. Following is my exact watch http://asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=92&P_id=1394&ti= The glass is broken and all needles, the three main dial hands (second, hour, minute) and the three small sub dial needles were separated and lost. I have got it checked from a watch repair shop locally and the machine and movement 7550 is working fine and the date wheel is changing dates. So my machine is ok. I am thinking of ways to salvage this watch. Is it possible that I am able to procure all the following parts : 1. Main body, casing, with bracelet and two side buttons with crown. 2. A set of all needles (big and small) in the watch. If possible then basically I want an empty casing complete with the front dial glass and black tachymetre ring fixed in place (and hence water resistant from the front), minus the machine (movement). If it can be bought then maybe I can open the empty back casing to get my old machine (A7750) fixed in a new body and save my precious watch make it working again. I hope this idea can work because I really liked this watch. I need suggestions and advices from the watch pros that how workable can such a transformation be. And if possible what are the steps I need to take care of . Any guidance or recommendation would be highly appreciated, especially if you can point me to a pictorial guide of the same or any other similar watch overhaul. Thanks.

Hello All, I have just received my most talked about TAG Carerra Calibre 16 Day-Date Chronograph. Have been enjoying its beauty and craftsmanship. However to actually flaunt the inners, I need to know how to really use the chronograph functions. What are probable situations for its use, what are the markings and how is the external bezel tachymeter used in measuring velocity and distance. Does it has some use in combination with the chronograph. My understanding is that I know that chronograph can be activated/reset by the push buttons on 2" and 4" o clock, but they only activate the large seconds hand (with red tip). With each complete round of the second's hand the 12 o clock sub dial (which is 30 minutes chrono marker) advances by one minute and the 6 o clock subdial should advance by one each hour. How can I reset or align the small chrono sub-dials at 12 and 6 o clock. Right now they are running out of sync with the main timing clock. Do they keep running even when the chrono functions is not activated by the push button at 2 o clock. I hope I am able to make myself clear, I need an article, guidance or a bible of chronograph functions and how they are supposed to be used in this watch. Would be an excellent resource for the general understanding of all of us. Thanks for your response.

In my opinion dont go for it. The original model has a model number of CV2A10 and this one has an engraving of GV2A10. I came across the similar problem when selecting the same watch rep. then found a correct one at Asian7750 . So when paying quite some amount for a close to gen replica, I would always consider such small details. Rest is upto you to decide.

What is the best trust worthy dealer around here on the forum to purchase this watch from. Of course your answer would depend on the experiences you had. 4. I am planning to go with Asian7750 on http://asian7750.com...10&P_id=558&ti=. Has someone else purchased the same watch from this site. How good of a rep is it this within the mentioned price. Are there any other dealers of an equivalent quality rep with a lower price.Can anyone tell me which version is this on Asian7750 website. 5. I have read about a lot of mods which can be done with this watch. If i purchase the one mentioned in the above link, it is reasonably good out-of-the-box. Is it necessary with the above mentioned rep to change the date wheel with ETA to match the font, are they really out of proportions on the stock rep. Just asking cause i have a limited budget at the moment, and the mods can vary in cost. 6. Is it any person or a dealer selling the same watch with the mods pre-applied, please mention the type and costs of the mods already implemented in any rep piece available for sale. 7. Finally i have read about servicing required with this movement/this rep to be done to be able to run perfectly over years. Is servicing necessary or a must-must when buying a new rep or should I just get it delivered as-is.
