  1. Admins, Lock this thread down, for the good of the forum. phoband.........take a chill pill and do your frustrations in PM with this dude, this aint helping the forum at all. To the Admins - As a noob, and not a virgin to forums, you should have some say here and stop this BS
  2. Jmabshir, Like you i did my first purchase of a rep in Nov last year. Nearvously went through the process of proofing the QC pics and awaiting delivery. As a noob its painfull waiting for that first watch to arrive, not knowing if you have been ripped of or not. I have to say that from doing a bit of reading and reseach on this site, it did settle my mind some what. My watch arrived from Perfect Clones and i was happy with it....very happy. So much so that i have ordered and await delivery of a Pam 237 (h1) which Joshua the dealer has sent me QC pics to approve. Like you say....its a waiting game........i so hope my new PAM arrives soon
  3. Gents........This is the internet....ffs ....CHILL
  4. Shhhhh.....wont say a word.......but i have to sneek a pic of mine in as well
  5. Looks sweet, and welcome to the forum. I am in the same boat as you, a noob with so many questions to ask. The peeps here seem brilliant at answering any question though. Good Luck
  6. Does it not bother you that the back case was not a perfect clone? I looked at the quartz version but was put off by the fake screw holes. Although i can only comment on those offered by Joshua.
  7. maxman.....my Invicta has not missed a beat in 18 months, buy its a quartz chunck. From 40+ LCD & LED watches, + half a dozzen Gens and my B&R Rep, My Invicta is still my fav.......You have to love the bling of a 52mm lump of stainless
  8. Thanks Jkay, I have done 50 half winds about 7 hours ago and its still holding time. Its bed time here in the UK, so it will be intersting to see what time it gives up the ghost. Thanks for the help peeps......fingers crossed my 7750 isnt a duffer.
  9. JKay, How many winds manually would you recommend. I have read in the forums (from old) that it is ill advised to hand wind a 7750? I did not realise the Invicta was an Asian jobby. I do love it though, Its like wearing a 10Kg weight on your left arm........more exercise than that wrist ever gets
  10. On a foot note, i didnt realise my B&R had recessed chrono dials until i took that photo
  11. Thanks for the input gents, I think its probably my work life / social life. I do sit at a desk from 7am to 6pm and most nights chill'in on the sofa. I will give it a good wind up tonight before bed and see how long we get. Back to my 52mm Invicta tomorrow then
  12. A 40 hour power reserve? I am not getting anything like that. I get 8 hours if iam lucky. Could it be this B&R needs a service or lubing in some way?
  13. Hi, I have only got one Rep atm which is my beloved B&R 01-94 from Joshua. I have just placed another order with him for a Pam 237H V2 and await delivery to the UK. My noob question is that, I can obviously only wear one watch at a time so with both these having 7750 movements in them, one is going to loose all its energy. Are these movements OK to put away in a watch box unwound or does the movement perform/last longer constantly on the go? Thanks PS. Just thought ide add a piccy of my first Rep
  14. WOW I love that, could you please tell me where you got it from (which dealer). Thanks
  15. I am kind of new to the rep world and have only made one purchase so far which is a Bell & Ross 01-94 from Josh which i love. My next investment i would like to buy two watches one is a Franck Muller King Black Cortez and the other is a Rolex. Can you wonderfull experts in the Rolex section give me your honest opinions on the watch below http://www.1-pc8838....ial-p-7851.html Is this as good as it gets from a factory stock unit? A dude at work has a gen version of this, if i get this will he be ripping into it something rotten, i dont mind admitting its a rep, but could not stand an endless bombardment of faults from him Your thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated before i splash the cash
  16. Hello and i would like to start by thanking RWG for helping me on my new quest/hobby. I have been a watch collector for a couple of years but my passion has been more towards vintage 1970-1980 LED & LCD units (around 30+ at the last count). Ranging from early solar watches to my favourite early calculator watches (my mint Seiko C153 being my pride & joy). I decided that as i cannot afford my dream watch, i would look at the clone/rep market and after a few months of casual searching and chatting to a few people decided that Perfect Clones seemed a trusted site to do business with. So i ordered my all time wish watch (a Bell & Ross 46mm BR1), after my order was placed i somehow dropped on this site and very quickly learnt that the site i had placed my order with was a 'cloned' site (ironic i thought). Thankfully, after discovering this site and through communication with Joshua (the real one) i cancelled my original order (as i had not confirmed paypal payment) and ordered through the real Perfect Clones. I am still waiting for my watch to land but from the brilliant tracking system i at least know it is in the UK, so hopefully anyday now. Without this site and reading the forum i may have kissed goodbye to £250 of my hard earned money, so thanks again to RWG and it's posters. My real question is - Are Rep watches an investment or just an indulgance? I have a couple of decent (what you may class as OK watches such as my Invicta Reserve) that i wear daily and plan to wear my B&R with pride. I have seen so many other iconic watches on Josh's site that i would love to own but with the financial commitment involved i am wondering if i am just buying for my own indulgance or would they actually be an investment for the future? Thanks again for a very helpfull forum (which i have only just really started to fully explore). Phil
