  1. I love em big and not below 40mm (big wrists at 7 3/4"). I rarely wear my Invicta Reserve, not because its a 52mm version, but its like carrying 6 cans off beer around everywhere i go. My B&R BR01 is managable but my Pam 'Ghost' is just perfect. 44 - 48mm for me Everyone is different i guess and its what feels right on the wrist.
  2. I have been hunting for a good site for Pam straps for a while, there are some excellent companies out there selling some magnificent examples but i did not want to spend as much on a strap as i did on my watch. US sites, for the UK market seem very expensive and European sites are limited. I stumbled across this site and thought for UK Pam fans it might be useful. I will be ordering a matt black one with olive drab thread stitching and box stitched on Monday for my 'ghost' so will let you know what it is like when it arrives. http://www.toshi-straps.co.uk/index.html
  3. It was a difficult choice today, it was nearly the B&R
  4. Thanks for the info on the pin, i have given it a good push down and it seems to have locked in place. The lume in normal/average daylight is a slightly off white. Under electric low energy lighting or on a brightish day, it has a more minty green white glow, but put it in front of a LED light or in direct sunlight for a min or two and it glows like that stuff they are trying to manufacture in Iran
  5. ASCIWhite That King Cortez looks a lump and a half..........but 'Pimptastic' at the same time. Do you have an example picture against a 44mm watch of any kind? I am so tempted in the black cortez but the size seems rather large!! P.S. That white day/date is stunning

    7750 ?

This may be a simple answer but as a Noob its always good to ask...........cut to the chase ...... i need to know I have a Bell & Ross BR 01-94 with a 7750 lump driving it ( my first Rep from Josh) - It sound rough when auto winding, when manual winding it feels like i am grinding the mechanism around. This watch was listed on P.C. as released in August 2009. Is it likely this is an old 7750 movement? The reason i ask is, I have taken delivery in the last 2 weeks of a Panerai 237H from Josh which is realy growing on me. The movement in this is a 7750 but is virtually silent, runs for ever and keeps perfect (and i mean perfect) time. I am guessing that the lump in my B&R is an older version (even though i only bought it 4 months ago). Is it wise to spend extra money on the B&R to get it greased up and working a bit quieter? Cheers
  7. (Note to self...........Make sure all finger prints are removed for future photo shoots)
  8. Perfect Clones No2........my second delivery.......(At this point i would like to thank all the dudes (& biatches ) that have contributed to this site over many years, it has helped me make an informed choice for this watch and probably my next 2). My choice this time.....A 237H GMT V2 And i love it Those that know the watch will understand its micro flaws, the rest off you just marvel in its glory The only [censored] i have against the watch is its Lume........for a C3 copy i have to say my Bell & Ross lasts much latter into the night hours. Apart from that i love da Pam
  9. I love PP's but, everyone i have suspected of being close to the rep has revieled flaux. But i do still love it
  10. I so love the fiddy but my vote for today is for the black breitling. davea..........is that a rep i could maybe purchase from a rep home boy dealer ? :pimp: :pimp:
  11. Not a brand i would personally go for (more a jewelry name to me) but a nice looking watch all in all
  12. A great review. I totally appreciate your comments on the B&R rubber strap, it does push the watch face upwards, even after 4 months of wearing. (I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced leather alternative). I so love this watch but at the time off ordering unfortunatley Joshua did not have it available so i went for a 237 H factory clone. I will deffo add this quality piece to my shopping list for next month. I love the display case back and quality of the movement. Enjoy and wear it with pride
  13. I have always fancied a Tag Monaco as a rep, but having seen the best the rep dealers can offe,r compaired with a Gen.....personally ide walk away.

  17. OMG i just found his price list........i may have to postpone this until next month after just splashing out £320 on a new PAM from Joshua
  18. JKay, I got into D9's site.........f@@king stunning straps (excuse my language) but they look more expensive than my watch I see the quality, are the prices respectable?
