The official Rolex center in Indianapolis called me on both my gens. First was a circa 79 Tue Tone GMT transitional a year later a circa 73 1680. Both times they said they would take them in but they were probably not authentic. Both times asked me if the watch came from ebay and how much did i pay.They treated me like a second class customer.

I dont know but it sounds like to me that US Customs is looking to cash in on the nearly Billion dollar a year counterfeit watch/hand bag industry. I think that Rolex will eventually find a way to make examples of random unlucky people ( hefty fines). As we all know that in the US political favors / money can manipulate the justice and federal system. -
