I think the forums are better than any watch magazine. For example Watch time is really geared towards the high end market. While they have wonderful articles and from time to time they may have an article on a Seiko, Doxa, or Hamilton, many times the articles are geared towards the luxury market. Forums are very well rounded and you will find much more information.
While I know plenty about gen watches I know zip about rep watches. However, I have to say that everyone here has helped me immensely. As a member of several large watch boards I have to say the members here are super helpful. In my short time on this board I have grown quite fond of everyone. Perhaps OP you need to start over and take advantage of the knowledge from the people here. Lose that attitude of yours - yes you do have one - and be open to the insight of the members here. I am sure they are willing to forget your beginnings.
I can't imagine anyone who is a business person has never heard the term OEM. I find it impossible unless their business is of an illegal sort like drugs.
No he is correct on the name. I believe it was released about two years ago. If he is actually speaking of that one. I have a bottle of it sitting at home. A really great fragrance for the day time.
If you are lucky you can find the Thierry Mugler limited editions on eBay for around $100 last time I checked. It has been a couple of months so I don't know.
I picked this up this afternoon from my AD. I waited a whole month for him to get this watch in.

Eau de parfum contains about 7-15% perfume concentrates. This is the most popular and common form of perfume. It provides a long-lasting fragrance and is less expensive than the extract. The life of a parfum is easily 8+ hours. I can spray a couple squirts of Opium parfum in the morning and at midnight it can still be smelled. Eau de toilette has around 1-6% perfume concentrates. This makes for a light scent that doesn't linger as long as the more intense versions. I would say EDT has a life of about 4 - 6 hours.
I just picked up a couple of suits for work. I can honestly say these are the best suits I have owned in quite some time. The cut and fabric is of a superior quality.
