the reason for the legal notice was because Panerai's parent company was sueing him. Thus he needed to defend himself by sending out those letters. people took it personaly. anyone can feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

he threatened legal action againt people posting or selling replicas on his webforum. he sent legal notices to people who post on his site and rep forums stating this. his reasons for doing so are posted on trc. many people who received the warning took it personaly.
