  1. Just snagged a Phong midcase/caseback, yuki hev, and clarks bezel assembly/crystal from fellow member Think7.

All I can say is: WOW.

Flawless transaction and the fastest shipping I've ever experienced (coast to coast in 2 days!).

I'd like to drop a 1570 in here, but for the moment I will settle with an eta. Does anyone besides yuki sell the eta movement adaptor? I also have an old-school MBW bezel/thin numbers insert - would this be more accurate than the clarks assembly?

  2. Hey everyone! The inks/cliches/misc parts arrived last week. After a few slightly successful trials, I'm still attempting to ascertain the correct ratio of ink/thinner/matte powder to use in the printing process. There seems to be a problem with pad pressure, which I hope to have sorted asap. If my manual padprinter setup doesn't yield satisfactory (i.e. crisp) printed results, I will most likely purchase an automated pad printing press. HOPEFULLY it won't come to that, as I've already sunk way too much money into this venture.

    More updates ahead!

  3. hi whoopy, any updates?

I was hoping my next update would include pictures of the finished dials, but alas! I am currently waiting for the custom ink/dials to arrive. Once they're here I will begin the pad-printing process, post pictures, and set up a thread in the sales section. I'm pretty stoked that this project is near completion! Finally I can contribute something to the RWG community :D

  4. From my opinion, the logistics of manufacturing this number of dials to hold stock of would be daunting. I'm sure it would be a large investment of time and resource.

I think if he did a print run sign up for each style and printed them more one at a time it would happen.

Or if we did a vote on the styles that are most wanted and encouraged him to start there?

There are a lot of variations, I see this as a daunting task. But my daytona project has slowed waiting to see where this goes.
