The engravings are some of the better ones I've seen. Font is close and it's done with a pantograph machine (as opposed to rotary). What do you guys think?

Hey all,
Saw that a dealer had the Noob version 026K (v3) in stock, so I jumped at the chance (last I'd heard everyone was out of stock) and purchased it. Now that I've recieved QC pictures, I'm not so sure it's a Noob v3 after all. They're claiming that it's a "new Noob batch, with a lighter pvd color", but I have a feeling it's just an H-fac v2.
To my knowledge, the Noob v3 has:
-darker pvd coating
-when not glowing, has whiter (less yellow) lume
-different crown guard (though I'm a rollie guy, so I have a harder time identifying differences here)
-better engraved (more recessed) run/serial number on caseback
Can anyone who's owned one/both help me identify what this is?!

Hi Whoopy12
I know this is an old post but did you produce any flat top DWO's ? I have a MBK inbound at the end of the summer from Reg and am looking at collecting the mod components. I just can't find a decent DWO at all. Thanks in advance.
This project never got off the ground, but fellow member Polexpete produced some of the best vintage rolex dwo's I've ever seen (see link below):

You did SRSDs too? Damn - and I thought I'd collected all of the "Whoopy Rolley" set... Time to hunt down another 5514 case and SD bezel... Haha
Yep! My favorite dial BY FAR
Any chance they have Gen feet?

There are a bunch of gen pouches here:

You can get a gen box for a resonable amount also if you wish to do so.

Thank you. I think I will stick to buying completed watches for a bit and tinker with some of my cheaper no wrist time units and keep reading. At some point I will go for a build but still have so much to learn.

Most accurate in my opinion...gen

I recently purchased a pantograph machine with the intent of engraving some custom fonts previously created. However, due to time constraints, I don't think I'll be able to learn how to use the machine.
My question is: Are there any members here or on the other forums that are proficient with a manual engraver?
I know nightwatch is, + a couple others, but I'd like to find one in CONUS if possible...

Here's what might be the same type of bracelet:

The watch was a custom order Rolex in the 1970's; it's the only white gold daytona

Remove "Rolex" Name & Logo from Dial?

I've had success using small needles to remove unwanted text. Takes a STEADY hand, loupe, and a lot of time however. Good luck!
