  1. Making a franken dssd is rather exp and difficult.

    Bezel assembly approx 1.2k

    Bracelet and clasp 1.2k

    Crown 200-300 as is rare

    Dial 500?

Crystal 400? But damn hard to find.

Add that up and its abt 3.5k++ and labor which could end up abt 5k easily. Not including the 3135 which was abt 2.2k. While a gen v or m dssd could go for about 8k+. Might as well buy a gen at that point. The rep to gen price ratio is too close at that point

  2. One of the biggest tells on the DSSD is the HEV on the side, the gen has a nice thick outer ring on the valve the reps look thinner.

There was a recent brilliant post that compared gen and rep DSSD's, have a search for it and try and get some other pictures.

    Thanks bro.

ive already told u its gen twice but my posts have dissapeard

    Thanks for your input

This is an older DSSD replica from 4 or 5 years ago. I own this model. It was sponsored and offered by the now-gone trusted dealer EuroTimez. If you want one, you can still get them from some dealers like Trevor.

Here is EuroTimez's own QC Approval photobucket showing the model in close-up detail, as proof. It still exists, surprisingly.

You're saying this is a rep?

  3. Hey J, talking about this, I saw my friend's gen diver the other day. It came with varying degrees of sunkenness on different bezel screws.. looks like AP can get sloppy with their QCs too..

Or maybe he had a franken without u knowing!!  :bangin:  hahaha.. jk jk.. yeah, i think happens in all brands.. Apparently there are some "hand mades" in there

  4. Actually, I feel that my friend J is showing the black rubberclad, which is a gen.

Congrats J! I used to own this model but traded it for another one. Nice buy and wear her well. :)

Took u quite awhile to pop up mr.A. Thanks for your complements! How have you been doing? Havent seen u in a while. Tempted to get the v6? Hehe
