  1. What do you mean by "are they valued anymore like this?"

Regarding the strap, to me it looks like a rep. Its not the patterns of the croco i'd be looking for, but rather the inner side on the strap where the leather is tanned. This one looks a little to brittle or rather inflexible relative to the gen straps.

  2. Hi guys, I am wondering which Factory made the FC AP Diver V3. I know its not Noob factory for sure as their Quality control is much better, but I am wondering if it is the ZF? From what I've seen, they have consistently made the FC AP Diver V3 with low defect rates. Especially when this is compared with the NF, like the AP Diver 5.1 which was recently released. We can already see so many defected watches with poor lume application, etc. On a separate note, the NF should step up its game a lot, they are starting to get very sloppy and I'm beginning to lose trust in them.

Back to the topic, anyone knows which factory makes them?

    Thanks

  3. I dont believe theres a car to watch ratio. Like watches, cars are hobbies. I have friends who have a dozen of richard milles, and yes they are gen, and still drives a toyota for his daily car. Although he does have a merc. Its just preference how people spend their money. The way id see it is that a watch doesnt depreciate as much as a lux car. Unless you're the kind of person that attempts to fool everyone that the rep is a gen, i dont think there is relevance in a watch to car ratio. But having reps as well as gens do create a good variety in our collection :)

  4. To be frank with you, they are probably the best AP rep I've owned in every aspect. The reason I'm selling mine is that I'm alittle OCD and can't stand any flaws I see when I do realize them. As with all reps, there are always flaws. For me I always sell my reps after a month or so and go gen after.. I know its kinda retarded, but hey its a good trial watch. TBH the V3 is truly a great watch. If you get one pre-owned, you can sell it for a similar price if you're unhappy with it and don't lose out too much :)

  5. its a hard tell. The micro-screw on the top looks right with the hole in it and the swan-neck also looks correct. Where my doubt lies is at the color of the gems. The color of the gem for the Y cab isn't deep enough, and the bridges looks to rough. Again, it might just be the photo angle and lighting, so I wouldn't be sure if it was gen or not.
