Did you have any issues fitting the strap at 22mm? did it squeeze in or did you ned to cut it?

I would like to add to your post! I also bought a 3717 from Angus with upgraded black leather band. Unfortunately, the first parcel arrived and someone in the postal service had stolen the watch from the package. I told Angus and he was very quick to send me out a replacement at no extra charge (great customer service and communication +++) I received the replacement the following week and must say its absolutely perfect! I have also received a 21/18mm band from Tourby he is selling on the bracelet/strap trade forum and it fits perfectly and feels/looks AWESOME. Will take photos when I get a chance. In summary - ordering a watch from Angus is risk free and highly recommended as the quality you receive is tip top. Cheers, Rob

Well i have other watches that when i screw the crown back in its not actually winding the watch at the same time.. it sorta disengages and just screws back down? Also when i was winding the A7750 it would a few turns then felt bit stiff then wound then stiff again ... like its getting stuck inside?

Guys, I have a friend who has recently bought a A7750. I havent actually got one (only swiss and gens) so wasnt sure what it should feel like in the flesh ... The crown when pulled out to adjust time seems to feel stiff, when you screw it back in it feels like it is still "engaged" and winding the movement. Also - after a week of use it now doesnt last over night .. i.e. take the watch off at 9pm - wake up at 7am and it stopped. How long are these power reserves suppose to last ? I thought at least 36-40hours? Cheers, Rob

anyone seen kevlar straps ? i wanna get one similar to topgun ceramic watch band when my watch arrives

yer SS will be available it aint alot diff from ingeniuer ss band but ill be getting rubber - more comfy and i reckon rubber cooler hehe

Bit off topic - but since you guys are all aussie - you guys know any watchmakers in Sydney who will work on reps? i.e. super lume, replace movements etc like The Zigmeister? If so point me their way! Cheers

Yes look at the japanese car market - sure they are cheap and reliable and a blanket design that caters to the broad populus and have improved over the past 50 years ... BUT A Toyota still doesnt compare with a BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, Audi etc its practicality and affordabilty pitched against quality, design, elegence and prestige

Dont wanna poop your thread totally but dont forget that the Chinese can only Rep .. they are yet to design anything good or of good quality. They are good at copying a quality watch such as IWC and is much lower cost because they spend 2 months just copying the product rather than years of experience and quality control designing and coming up with a new product. If they made their own brand and came up with products which were original and of excellent design then i would say right on! also without the Gen's then the Reps wouldnt be so "cool"

Is that the leather or SS? What does he charge for P&H? Hmm I am gonna buy a croc strap for it anyway .. not sure if I should bother getting the SS version.

I reckon now that they have repped the 2006 .. the 2007 should be hard to rep .. its just a change of colours and a new backing!
