DONT SWIM WITH THIS WATCH! My friend had his serviced and one the screws inside were developing rust. He never swam or splashed it .. it was near the pushers so the watch smith said it was due to humidity. The pushers are the biggist issue with this watch with water resistance (or lack of)

A new movement would be better i reckon - they not too exxy - definitely cheaper than a new watch.

Tourby in EU was selling some 21mm moo croc straps.. i bought one and it was really good Angus (Puretime) sells the IWC deployment buckles

Guys just to let you know... Angus (Pure Time) will be offering a modded PAM 111H and I have volunteered to buy his first ultimate modded 111h and I will take photos and give it a review to let you know how it turns out. We sat down together and put a list of what would make the "Ultimate" 111H and this is the list of mods that he will be making to mine and will most likely be selling as a standard package: swiss unitas dagger swan neck canon pin fix thick crown guard sapphire with AR waterproof 5atm superlumed hands and dial I have seen some photos of the lume and it is very nice and bright! Anyhow - give it two weeks for putting it together and delivery and I will write a full review to share with you guys! Cheers, Rob

I bought a black croc strap from Tourby - it looks awesome. I have it on deployment. I also have TWB new kevlar strap which I havent tried on yet. Trying to sell my watch so PM me if your keen! lol

Haha Tourbs believe me when I tell you - i wouldnt buy this if it was limited edition of 1 and worth $1m I could get a Vacheron Constatin Rep or Patek ... but no .. id still rather spend my coin on a watch I like looking at:P 10 points for originality tho:)

Ive always wondered with the black PVD coatings - are they very prone to being scratched off? how durable is the coating?

Dont forget black enamel face must get some good antireflective coating! Also - keen for leather strap on deployment, no blue hands, number on caseback not face.

Guys, Just went down to the AD to look at an IWC Ceramic Top Gun but saw a Franck Muller and felll in love. The one i saw was 18K white gold, with grand complication and 12- perpetual calender. It was $55k AUD! Looked and felt great on my wrist. Now its time for me to track down the best Franck Muller rep available. Does one exist? If anyone has one that is accurate or knows of one let me know! Im hooked! Cheers, Rob

Guys, Quick thought. Are you able to store the charge on an automatic movement by pulling the crown out? i.e. when you pull the crown out to change the time, the seconds hand stops moving and the ticking also stops. Does this mean that the power will also stop until next time I push it back in? Reason I ask is that I have a few automatics and Im scared of always winding them when i change which watch I want to wear. If i do this.. all i need to do is set the time and date and start wearing! Does the deployment clasp make the strap bigger? im on the 3rd tightest hole atm with a tang buckle .. i heard some deployment clasps make it longer and therefore might not fit for me

Ok just ordered the kevlar strap too! I wasnt so sure about it at first after looking at the photos they have on their ad... but after seeing your shots im sold! I was tossing up between this and hte G10 NATO strap in black. Cant wait til it arrives! Anyone know where to get a good IWC rep deployment clasp in 18mm?
