  1. OK Guys, I'll stand up! The watch that The Zigmeister photographed is mine... I got burned on the Bell & Ross which I bought for $248.00 from Andrew. I had done my research and normally always buy Swiss ETA watches. The B & R had ORIGINALLY been advertised as ETA 2892 (This is when I ordered it). After Pugs "Little White Lies" thread this was then changed to "Asian ETA 2892" (too late for me though). What a load of rubbish - a cheap $10.00 chinese movement inside. I did not expect this from a man with whom I have spent $1200.00 with, in a month and a half!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sent it to The Zigmeister for re-luming as it had ZERO lume, just orange paint!! Not only did it arrive DOA but Andrew's response was to tell me to vigorously shake it! I didn't bother asking him if he would replace it as the last time he sent me a defective watch (Omega SMP with damaged crown tube threads) I had to exchange about 20 emails with him before he said I could send it back!!!!!!!!!! These threads tell some (but not all) of the story! http://www.rwg.cc/members/Bell-and-Ross-Br...val-t20538.html http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14223 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...16692&st=20 Andrew. Please do the honest thing. Either send me a replacement movement that works OR refund me for the Watch as it was clearly not advertised honestly. I will let all of the members on here, RWI and TRC know if you do the right thing! Well...????????????????? Not impressed!
  2. Hey. You should really edit your Post as to Andrew's shipping methods!!! Please don't spoil it for the rest of us Do not worry about your tracking. Andrew says on his site under the FAQ section that if your watch has not been delivered after 21 days, contact him and he will investigate. The quickest I have had a watch from Andrew was 9 Days. The longest wait was 4 weeks. Relax...
  3. Tim. IMO, this site is even better!!! http://www.toywatchusa.com/Index.CFM Scott.
  4. This satisfies point 1 on your list... http://www.glashuette.com/en/uhren_tangomat.html# This is a "Tangomat" made by NOMOS in Glashutte and is Eur 1880.00 with Date Display. The Reps that were made of NOMOS watches were of the cheaper model, the Tangente (Eur 1780.00 with Date Display and Power Reserve). Look how equisite and thin the case is!!!! (Roll your mouse over the tiny green squares from left to right - Third square in!!!!). Beautiful movements, both on the Tangomat (Automatic) and Tangente (Hand-wind). http://www.glashuette.com/en/uhren_tangente.html Hope this helps... Scottie.
  5. Mine is Orange with black PVD case The white colour IMO is a bit dull and boring... It was not Superlumed though, so I've despatched it to The Zigmeister. Scottie
  6. Klink. If I wanted a Chinese meal then I would order a "Chinky". This, IMO is not offensive language. If I wanted to annoy someone then I would use the phrase "F**king Chinky!" Now, why don't you "bugger" off back to RWI where you belong! Stop bringing your petty arguments over here to RWG. QUOTE "such as being a customer of any ethnic establish" UNQUOTE was with reference to Pugwash's post! Face it! You've been blown out of the water. I for one would like to know where I can get High Quality Rado reps and I am sick of people like you hijacking these threads with your mindless babble. After all, a Spade's a Spade. You might want to remember that in future... Just my 2 cents worth...
  7. Cheeky Bar Steward!! LOL
  8. Thanks for the link to a very classy looking watch. I had a look at it and have now purchased one for my wife!! Good choice!!!!!!!
  9. I noticed that the FREE V.I.P. Membership thread has been removed! Who won? Scottie. Who needs to be a V.I.P. Can't you be normal, just like me! Yes Sir, no Sir, don't you see, all fools together, not for me. So who cares about status, and all the hiatus, please V.I.P.'s don't hate us. We're not just what you make us. So V.I.P's what's cool, or are you all just fools, let us all not drool, just 'coz you've got all the tools! Well lads and lasses, that's all for now, I've got to go, and eat some chow. Please help me to understand, what's so special about V.I.P. land, so come on and lend me your hand, give me a free membership, to join in with your band!

  12. 2 Defective out of 5 Purchased. Bell & Ross 01-92 - Dead On Arrival Omega SMP - Crown problem
  13. Pug. 10 Years!! Has it really been that long Roll on 40!! LOL
  14. Hi all. I bought a BR 01-92 1:1 from Andrew as he had advertised it as having an "ETA 2892". A couple of days later, in response to Pug's "White lies that we are supposed to tolerate" post, I noticed that he had updated the wording on his site to ASIAN ETA 2892. Let me tell you, I was very pi**ed off and also had that sinking feeling. When the watch arrived... You've guessed it - DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I did the usual and sent him a polite email. He sent a brief one back telling me to shake the watch vigorously and told me how to wind the crown etc. !!!!!!!!!! I told him that I would try to get it fixed from a Watchguy rather than send it straight back! His response was basically - you do that then!! I have spent $1200 with him in the month of Jan and want to spend more!! I just don't get it ???????????????
  15. Hi all. I am a little frustrated! Yesterday, I received my BR 01-92 from one of our trusted dealers. The watch was unfortunately DOA. It has an Asian ETA 2892-2 and I noticed a tiny loose sliver of metal under the crystal, so therefore I am not surprised. I wound it the correct way (clockwise) and set the time as normal but it is well and truly DEAD! I emailed the dealer who suggested I do what I already had done including vigorously shaking the watch and all would be fine. I did what he said and guess what - it's still DEAD!! Rather than send it back to him, I am going to get a Watchsmith to fit a genuine SWISS ETA 2892-2 in it. Is this an easy job? Should I send it back to the trusted dealer? Thoughts anyone? Scott.
  16. You might as well buy the Gen! LOL. Get real - everyone would like those specs! It just ain't gonna happen.
  17. I agree Pug! ;-) A wink is as good as a nudge!
  18. Excellent!!! LOL :-) You made my day with that pic. Sums it up nicely!!!! Neither a borrower or a lender be.
