  1. Andrew at trusty time. I own the JLC NSD and its one of the best reps ever made!
  2. Yes they do. I have a BK PB DSSD and its loose. PB said he can mod it and make it tighter for $40.
  3. @sarge and bam...I agree! I would have loved the ceramic in pumpkin. I really don't want metal because of the scratch potential but I have quite a bit of black in my collection...tough decision maybe I'll go black insert with orange numbers...best of both worlds???thoughts gents???
  4. Relax sput I had the same issue. I wouldn't use pliers anywhere on my watch....might leave a nasty scratch All you have to do is screw the stem out as far as possible. Then place the valve cap on and lightly screw it back onto the stem...its tedious but be patient it will work. If necessary to prevent stem from turning hold it with tweezers. Good luck!
  5. Btw fellas I just spoke with Andrew at trusty and he assured me the bezel is gen ceramic and if it isn't 100% refund. I believe him he's a stand up guy.
  6. Sweet! Thanks for info Bam. Can't wait to see pics. I'm thinking of letting PB do my matte finish on the bezel. DMS did his own but scratch the bezel in the process. I don't need that stress
  7. I don't think its that bad and who sees the back anyway???The average joe wouldn't have a clue. I appreciate the effort by the rep factories. Its nice to have an Omega with a glass back for a change. The seahorse was getting dated.
  8. You're correct sarge the thread by DMS shows his new ceramic pumpkin bezel stripped down for a matte spray. It is aluminium per the gen. Omega does not make a orange ceramic bezel insert that I know of.
  9. I agree Mickey! Witch buy gen boxes for your best reps don't waste money on cheap rep boxes.
  10. Nice cougar thanks! Bam yes you need one!!!!
  11. @bam and sarge yes I'm going for V2 but can't decide on pumpkin or black. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Andrew at TT recommended the pumpkin cause it pops more. I have so much black in my collection pumpkin would be a refreshing addition but alas I'm torn. Help!
  12. Talk go for it! It's an awesome watch especially for a first rep! Never go quartz in a rep unless the gen is quartz. Automatic is always best if its a quality movement. I always go for true Swiss eta if option is available. Welcome to the addiction! Enjoy to the max!
  13. Jk it is bare only the numbers are painted and the gen will wear as well with constant rubbing. Relax guys and enjoy to the max.
  14. Check my review on the CrPO and look at my pearl pics. Perfection is possible in some aspects of a rep. My pearl is perfect in every way. I wouldn't settle for less that's why they send you QC pics. You are not obligated to accept a watch that does not meet your expectations. And sorry David but yes the pearl is NOT level.
  15. Sgt as you know I previously owned the CrPO black bezel and just sold it yaaay I never had any issue with scratches or paint rubbing off. The watch is awesome...no worries mate.
  16. Welcome to OCD Central. We excel in making you worse
  17. Not really a flaw per se just says liquid metal on the case back but only the blue model should have this. I have one and I think it looks pretty cool. The average joe on the street wouldn't know the difference.
  18. Now Gents which color do we choose hmmmm Classic Blue, Black, Black w/pumpkin numbers or Eccentric Pumpkin....decisions decisions
  19. I'm not sure either why you would want to remove the AR??? It makes the dial POP much more and guys pay big bucks to have AR jobs done but if you insist on removing the AR a Cape Cod polishing cloth and some elbow action will do the job!
  20. I wouldn't except it. You can get one with a better pearl.
