  1. I find myself torn between going all the way and getting. TC sub and "settling" for a noob factory Asian eta. I know the TC is superior but who else is going to notice. So what to do, what to do?
  2. I guess I'm in too for a 55
  3. ebzen, For $150 I assume you have the 2813 movement, how would you rate it? does it sweep smooth? It looks great!
  4. Greetings to all, I am in need of convincing that I need another Sub. I have had eyes on the ceramics for some time but have manage to hold off. I don't have a no date version so I am leaning towards that, but don't want to regret not getting the date version either I can't spring for both right now or else I would just get both. Please to all post your BP subs and any words of advice and encouragement RWG IS THE BEST! Cheers
  5. Thanks guys in regards to the plating. Its good to know it will hold up. As far as the internals and other moving parts how is the quality? If any thing were to break can it be fixed easily? Or is it a huge hassle sourcing parts?
  6. I have been looking for some time now at the ROO and now with the recent shortage I feel the need to finally pull the trigger on one as soon as they become available? I prefer the black dial so the grey themes and the chronopassion are obviuos choices being good reps and the fact that they are SS. But I keep finding myself going back the the rose gold. The black rubber bezel and rubber strap complement the rose gold and really represents an AP to me. That brings me to my debate. I know that SS is the best choice, its a rep after all and the quality of the rose gold plating is questionable. If I'm going to drop $500+ I would like some longevity. Any long time Rose gold owners out there please lend me your thoughts as well as any long time ROO owners. Did you have buyers remorse? Or are they a truly worth it? I am not going let myself get obsessed with the macro details I just really like the look. Thanks to every one for your time, advice and help.

  9. thinking about doing a sterile look, no logos. raffles time has dials, hands and a 2813 movement. any experience with him?
  10. I can't resist any longer. What is the definition of Wokky?
  11. I have the rep brushed. It has a slightly sharp edge, but I have a polished case, looking to trade it out eventually. I came on a strap.
  12. I have a sub that I did a few mods on the case and bezel but when setting the date and te yesterday something snapped and mow the seconds dont move and its not working. I can hear the rotor swinging inside. whats the options? get a new movement, ssems that may cost as much as a whole new watch?
  13. What would the rework list consist of?
  14. I am thinking about taking on this using all sterile parts. I really like the look of the Big Crown Bond Sub and I am not looking to get hung up on the little inconsistentcies of the Gen vs Rep. I just want the look with a solid movement for a daily wear watch. any thoughts?
