I used a new stem for installing palp's crown. It didn't go in all that easy, but holding it firm with a plyers, the crown then 'screwed' on. I couldn't even get stem out of the old crown, so not sure if the shape/size is different than the new stem I used.

Wad of duct tape is my preferred method.

I installed a Palp crown over the weekend on my 111h. The watch was wound when I replaced the crown. The procedure took about 2 hours -- had to cut the stem to the right length and file the lever down, as was already mentioned.

I am in the same boat as you Andy. I bought a Serie Speciale from Josh and would like to buy a new aftermarket strap. Trouble is, the BOB straps don't have holes, like you mentioned, and thus won't work with deployant clasp. Perhaps a special request to BOB can be made to punch some holes?

I received my Ultimate PO from Josh today and what a beauty it is (will post pics this week). I'd like to compare the caseback to a gen though...does anyone have a pic of a gen caseback they could post? Thanks.

I was refering to the new PO (which will be coming soon for me too). It mentions "light AR", which I assume to mean no AR.
