  1. If I recall, your watch is only 28$ cheaper! 30$ is about the usual difference between different dealers. River also offers some watches 50-100$ cheaper than you do! And I agree, its an asian 7750 replica, and I wont buy it either until it goes below 300$!
  2. Now You are naive! The Makers have the genuine watch MOST of the time. Still they produce shitty watches that have a lot of flaws. Funny, huh? Many flaws in the hublot have been fixed because WE pointed them out. The H on the dial for example. Joashua may have asked the manufactor to make a Hublot, but Joshua has NOT kept us up to date with sample pictures, and Joashua has NOT asked for our input. Yes, Yes... sure sure! And because they are soooo damn smart they still have not fixed the recessed pin for example on all the pams. Fact is, makers dont have an eye for some details. A lot of members here DO have an eye for those details which seem to be minimal to most other people. And yet you guys dont do it. I think what Angus is doing is great. And I give him credit for what he has done so far. He has invested a lot of time by replying to all of our concerns and questions! I think its very childish of you to act like Angus has done nothing special. No, I dont think you are lying to us, but I think you dont give Angus the credit he deserves. Joshua may have suggested to make this watch, but Angus let us see behind the doors and answered all of our questions and our input helped making this watch better!
  3. the price is almost the same if you add shipping to joshuas watch. Angus' watch cost 450$ including shipping, Joshuas 390$ + 40$ shipping = 430$
  4. No, I took 2 600mg Ibuprofen, so I'm good. I'm just very angry with myself that I spent almost 100euros at this damn club yesterday
  5. please read a few lines above your post and I too never played world of warcraft. In fact I rarely play video games, and If I do, only together with friends. Playing games only makes fun when you can shout at your friends after they kill you
  6. you do have a thing for gay watches, huh?
  7. But that was a whole different watch from a whole different factory
  8. Hmm... I remember hearing that its not possible to simply swap an asian 7750 with a Swiss 7753? Is that true? And whats the reason for this? Isnt the datewheel in a different position on a 7753? Also genuine 7753s are very expensive. I cant think of any reason why ETA discontinues them Damn...!!! They probably wont EVER fix this flaw. Thanks for the pics. I do have a life, so I miss some threads every once in a while and because of that I dont know everything
  9. I agree btw. sorry for the language yesterday... it was like 6am and as you can imagine I was drunk as hell
  10. Limited edition my ASS! Its a freakin rep, why would they make a limited edition? do you think the rep makers are like "ohh, we are so elite, we can launch a limited eidition, because we are so elite 1337 0mG pwNz0Rs!!!!11!11!!"
  11. from what I can tell its only missing about maximum 1mm. That should be doable. I would try it myself, bud I'd have to find the datewheel printed on a piece of round tape first! I'm off now, marry xmas!
  12. hmm, isnt it possible to make a "higher" datewheel?

    Merry X-mas

I'm gonna take a shower and pick up my grandma for christmas dinner. You guys all have a merry christmas/chanukka/Ramazan Bayram
  14. Could it be possible that the datewheel sits so low on the PAM250 for example because there are transfer gears that move the 30minute counter from 12 to 3? I looked at some swiss7753 reps that dont seem to have a sunki datewheel. And the sunk datewheel is really obvious, I looked at a GEN PAM250 yesterday and I had my rep 250 on and the difference was was huge!
  15. i wanted to take the shot and buy the watchonpo 6263, but KEN from Etaworldgoods keeps ignoring my PM's ever since I asked him if the lugsize is 19mm. I find this behaviour very childish!
  16. If you are talkin about the watchonpo watch, yes, it uses the seagull movement. From who did you buy this watch and which movement is inside?
  17. Nah, Breitling is probably the last watch I'd get for him. Its too much "in your face b..." IMO I thought about a Seadweller. Not a Submariner, still a Rolex and a little bit more class than a Sub. What do you guys think? Most of the other suggestions are great, too and I will take a look at them next time I visit WEMPE! Btw. How much are AP's? Or are there any "special" Panerais without Unitas/7750 under 5k?
  18. I'm quite happy with my Jimmyfu CG, especialy since the lever is not wobbly AT ALL. Very veryy smooth opening and closing. I wouldnt wanna miss it! But I agree, the difference is not that big, but if you want it near perfect, Jimmy's CG is the way to go!
  19. I want this to be a watch that still has value in lets say 25 or 50 years. It has to be the kind of watch you would pass to your son or grandson. That is why I would avoid fancy fashion watches. I'd love to get him a lange, but at 15.000+ they are out of range! I thought about a Rolex, but Rolex seems just too easy, if you know what I mean. on the other hand, if you take a look back in time, how could would it have been, if I had gotten a 6263 or a DRSD back in the 70s (assuming I would have been alive in the 70s)
  20. My girl gave me some nail varnish. But it said big "without acetone" on the front But I found some dental tools and I scratched the painting off instead. Took some time, but turned out okay!
  21. Verry good suggestion, because I wanted to get him a Lange in the first place, but lange does not fit in our budget
  22. Dont know if he will like it, because Breitlings are really big mofos and you cant really "hide" a breitling under your sleve. Plus with breitling you always have the problem you have with a rolex, ppl think its either fake or you are a snob, or both!
