Awesome build!

That looks really really good. I can't wait to see it with spring bars. I sure wish I had the talent to shape a case like that.

You can't reach the spring with a dwo in place. Take your first and second finger and rotate the date wheel clockwise, you will line up the teeth in an opening. You'll feel it. Lift up with a single edge razor blade on the outside of the date wheel,it will pop off. To reinstall, take a 0004ths feeler gauge and slide under the date wheel against the spring, and rotate the bezel until you feel it drop down. Your done
Now this, I can definitely do (I hope!) I'll try this tonight. Thank you Matt!

Eek. I was afraid of that. lol. Thanks!

Hi RWG,
For the first time ever, I fudged up the keyless works on a clone 2836 BPSD. Is there a easy way of removing the datewheel without separating the DWO from it? I have seen video's on removing the datewheel but I can not seem to find any how-to's with a DWO on it.
Thanks!

I would have held out for the tc. I had one. Best 16610 rep on the market

What case is this? CG's look excellent

They should offer both but stick with asian 2824

Www.pure-time.com is going to work soon. They just switched the url
-
Avoid the 2836 14270 and 114270. Buy the 2824 version. The crown height is correct in the 2824 version.
Puretime has the super rep version with the solid endlink.

Yuki's 1680 dial for gen movement has the correct date window location
I cut feet and use dial dots.

I have a pt rep 1680 with a yuki dial I'd be willing to trade him
-
Mines is a rep. I'll try to take some pictures head on of 12 o'clock marker
-
I'll play guinea pig if my v1 red one arrives while I still own the blue one.
The only thing is the red bezel has the vintage lume pearl to match the dial markers and the blue bezel has the whiter pearl

I have this one, a Small Block Tudor Oysterdate Chrono Time Ref. 79260 but with sapphire glass
Wow! Is that all gen 79260?

Hey fabio, I'm pretty sure Rob knows that since he outlined it in his build thread and post up above.
-
So beautiful! What case set is that?
-
That's pretty darn impressive compared to any TD offerings under $400. Easily upgradable too as the watch funds grow.
Thank you JMB!

Sorry to bump a old thread Rob but did you ever find a 500 mph bezel to fit the 'Tona case?

It makes me appreciate the old PT 1680 in my watch box (that's been needing a movement swap since forever).
