Holy moly! Subscribed!!! Can't wait to see the refinished dial. That case is beautiful!!!
-
You can upgrade the 2813 with a ETA 2846, ETA 2836 or ETA 2834...
As for the Athaya crown, you'd have to fit the tube also to the case.
-
Phong crowns are pretty good...
He doesn't like Athaya crowns at all and keep saying they are junk...
I have had 4 of his 702's in several different builds and the clutch failed almost immediately on all of them.
-
I do not think you will find one... but PM on the way...
-
Beautiful build!!! I too am wondering this:
How is the 2842 held in the case? I thought there were no holes for the case clamps in these movements. Looks good by the way
-
Thank you. This is a Tiger Concept v3 case. I took the budget build route with this one. Inside has a dg3804b mated to a gen Tag dial. Chopped the ETA feet and the 4th hand is the small arrow from Rafflestime. Bezel insert is aftermarket 1675. Definitely a cool homage to the Pan AM 6542.

You need the 28mm yuki dial. The 27 will fall through the dial opening. Don't ask how i know...
-
The best at it just got better. AH-MAZING!
-
Also the 2840's have no holes for dial feet or movement clamps.

That's who this TC guy is. I won't post his name but he's not private about it, I think it's on his blog.
I honestly don't think T.C., the name he uses on his blog is his real name. I am almost certain. I mean, R*lex would hunt this guy down. I am sure that is just his alias.

Looks great! I can direct you to a nice low dome plexi if you are interested
Size 30.6

Wow. Such a beauty! Congrats on your purchase. Can't go wrong with a gen
-
For the price and labor that would be put into this project, it isnt worth it for the rep manufacturers.
Buy your son a vintage dive watch. I have a couple of gens in the sub $300 range

holy hell. Beautiful! Just like the Bill Yao Kingston dials.

So cool! Congratulations on this beauty! Did he get any pictures with your whole box/setup?
Unfortunately I didn't send him the box. I sure regret it though!
Tudor 94010 is a no date sub that uses this dial and is not MN

Thank you for these links. I have never seen no date NON Flake TUdor Subs for sale. Thank you for sharing these links!!!
You're welcome
Here is my franken 94010 with a gen dial and eta 2783.
Right after I bought it, my wife stole it from me and won't give it back.
Beautiful patina! What a lovely build. Get that watch back and get her a PAM to replace it..

Very Nice piece.
I love no date subs.
So what makes it an MN? Excuse my ignorance on this matter.
I actually extracted this from one of Grahame Fowler's Milsubs....

but seriously. I think it is a MN because it is a no date, matte triangle dial (I am uncertain if this was sold dial configuration was sold to civilians). I have yet to see one in the wild...

Thank you guys! This is a Phong case with a gen dial an a ETA 2783. My buddies photography skills are amazing.

The yuki looks good!
-
Turnkey JMB case set soon?
-
I personally think you went to far with the dial and hands. I have yet to see a gen in that condition.
Do you have reference pics of the look you are aiming for?
If you want to revert to the old looks, i have a spare new cartel dial in my drawer that i can sell to you.
-
Why didn't you have it SERVICED instead?
Where can I find a pocket watch dial for a custom build?
