Whoopy's, I only did a very small part (what I could to help) but You my friend, did all of the Hard work!
I'm very excited and can't wait to get my dial! Thank-you again, for making this project a reality for everyone.

Guys this isn't a thread to lynch Mike, far from it tbh
the intention of this thread is for members who have work with Mike to be able to talk to him and each other re the work that is currently in hand, thats all.
As an update on my jobs Mike has contacted me today and I've forwarded instructions again on what is needed (5 jobs) to him, waiting on a reply now as he will work on them this week.
I'll keep you up to date on how my jobs are going, would appreciate the same transparency from others too.
I don't think a public listing of what Mike is doing for you, updates on the status of the work is really needed. This would only start additional comments that are un-needed.
Example, you post one of your jobs is taking a long time. Others start jumping-on, wanting to know why. Every job is different, and there may be stumbling blocks due to
unforeseen issues with each project. I don't expect to know every detail of each job he's doing for others, but those details would be needed to fully understand the entire project.
What's next, asking publicly what you've paid for your work! Come'on guys, let's be reasonable here. I have 3 pieces with Mike myself. If I want an update on how things are
going, I'll chat with Mike. That's who's doing my work and that is who I'm paying too. What he charges me is no one else's business, nor should it be. How long My jobs are taking
are also no one's business. Again, you don't know the details of what I need done on each piece, parts that may be needed or what Mike & I have agreed to.
Not trying to jump on you sgtguk, just maybe you & I don't see eye-to-eye on this 'Transparency' thing, but that's My .02 cents!

WOW! That's a Beauty for sure. I have a 16710 I'm working on now myself. Hopefully it will look as good
when I'm done with it.

Mike, I have faith in you brother. BTW, Mike's got 3 of my 'babies' and as soon as he's taking in new work, I think
I have another one for you to work on Mike

Not picking a side here, but I don't see any it listed as Superlumed in the original FS post.
Plus in the FS post, it has a lume shot, so you see what it looked like, before you bought it.
If the seller sent you a lume-shot before purchase and you still bought it, then it's now your's. Unless the picture
he sent you was of a different dial, then I wouldn't see a refund in order here.
Either resell it yourself if you're unhappy with it, or send it out for a brighter lume job.

I just went through my 1st keyless works fix attempt. It started when I just wanted to see if my gen crown would fit my new GMT. I just bought a bunch of tools so I could learn to do my own work. Took the back off, pulled the stem and found the gen was to big for the tube. No tube removal tool so I'll just put the GMT back together. Nope, not that easy. KW got out-of-wack putting the stem back in. Its an ETA 2834-2, the stem should have gone right back in easy. Took the GMT apart, remove dial & hands ok. Took the entire KW out. Wanted to learn how it all works. Put it back together ok, I thought. But more the watch don't run! Seconds hand just don't move? I really thought I'd done good, because even the date changes right at 12, spot-on.
Now what's wrong with it?

Yes, Mike is becoming a great 'go-to-guy'. I have had work done by Mike in the past and his work is outstanding.
I trust Mike, as he has 3 other watches of mine now getting work done.
I have patiences and I hope others do to. Family comes 1st, Always. Our 'hobbie' stuff can wait for Mike to get back
on track.
Mike, I hope your string of bad luck has ended. You deserve a break my friend!

I need my DRSD dial

I wrote on my anwer: earlier repainted dial..
Ok, so it was reprinted by someone who can't spell? It's a fake, either go get your money back or stop trying to pass this off as gen onto someone else!
The 'many experts' on many different forums have spoken!

Week that one is gone now. He may have ended the auction early as he did say it was also offered locally for sale. He still has one live auction, and that ones up the 12k.
I would never buy from someone with zero feedbacks. Unless you can view the watches locally, pass!

got any pictures of this mod? I'd like to see it.I have a BK YM recently purchased from him. Not sure of the source but this watch is spot on. I also swapped out the "stock" clasp and installed a Daytona clasp and wow. Adds great look and field. This is a mod the gen guys do and I can see why.
Thanks,
Dave...

Rolojack, I have to say, even though Freddy may be right, I love your version better
Please let me know when / if you ever decide to sell it!
What a real beauty.

I'd have to agree with everyone else. My BK DSSD is beautiful. As said before, BK will do all of the QC'ing for you, so you'll have nothing to worry about.
The extra spent on his DSSD is well worth it.
