  1. Any news mate ?

Good luck, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Still waiting for a resolution from our deal back in July!

Last August I was sent this "Listen mate, if the [censored] hits the fan and we end up with our fingers burnt i will make a conribution towards your loss of the 1665."

As of Today, I still have Not received any resolution! :nono:

Maybe time for me to leave the 'proper' Feedback!

  2. For me, I'm just starting to have my Franken 16610 built. To me, its the best Everyday watch yet still looks great

in a suit. This will be the most I've spent on a build so far. It will be all gen except the case & movement.

I'd love to build a Daytona but just the gen dial, hands & bezel is costly!

Good luck in whatever you want / build. Like everyone says, as long as you like it, who cares about everyone else!

  3. One rep in I'm already wondering what my next one will be, oops!

And this is how it starts (for most of us). You get your 1st rep, like it a lot. Then you start doing more-n-more reading about every little flaw on reps. Then you start noticing some of the flaws on yours. So you start moving up the chain. Buy a nicer one from the M2M sales section and sell your 1st rep, Cheap. Then this process continues (sometimes daily). More reading, noticing more flaws that now start to really bug you, Every time you look at the watch. So even though you said you never would, you spend even more on a ‘better’ model. Now you’re moving up and into the “let’s start swapping out a few parts’ mode.”

It’s all downhill from here ( or at least for me it is). Now I’m going into the Super Franken mode! My next build will have Gen Dial, hands, insert, date wheel, crystal, crown, tube, gaskets & modified case with a y3135 engine.

So even though it may seem like you’ll Never go down this road right now, here is my advice. Start stashing away a little every day now. Trust me, you’re gonna need it!

  4. I'm working on it Dave

No worries Mike. Like I said, I just hope mine 'looks' 1/2 as good as this build does.

Besides the GMT is going to keep me happy for a while. :inverted:

Man I never really liked the Green LV's before, but they are growing on me, Fast!

I really like the Green insert with the Black dials the best.

  5. Dave, congrats on the repair!

Was wondering if you purchased from TT? I'm looking to purchase a white Ploprof with mesh bracelet, and not sure if it will fit correctly. I have a 7" wrist and the bracelet isn't adjustable... Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Thanks! But no,  actually I bought my Ploprof in a M2M sale last year. I love the watch and wear it a lot in my rotation.

I have about a 7 1/2 wrist and it looks great.

Good luck in your search, you'll love it!
