  1. Hello brothers (& sisters ;-)) I've caught a bug for Big Egi and am considering buying 60mm version from Angus. (No please don't convince me to get 47, 48, or 52mm version. I've made up my mind to indulge myself with the absurdity :-D) Through out the threads regarding Egi, i have not yet seen anyone doing a proper review of it. Most of them are about modifications or custom made Egi) So before i squeaze the trigger, .... how accurately is Egi repped? Also how's the build quality? I've seen someone mention not to get <$200 version because they are wobbly. What about the $290 version? Anyone have it in their collection to give me some guidance? Much appreciated for some enlightment[emoji6]
  2. Thanks astonjenks, i think that's what i wanted to hear. (Not that i wanted to hear not to go near it but confirmation of my fears) . If you jave 8+ wrist and still found it too large to wear, the i, with 7.5 wrist don't stand a chance! I think i can handle the dial size no matter how big, but i hated the lugs sticking out way out of the wrist. Thanks again. I think i'll just have to settle with 47mm pams.. ;-)
  3. Hi there. I have a request to those who own 60mm egi. I've searched numerous sites for the pictures to guage the size on the wrist but they all look different. On some photos, there is this small man wearing it without looking stupid (rather comfortably) and in others it just looks ridiculously huge.. like wearing a manhole cover. Would you mind posting your personal wrist shots if you guys don't mind? Does it look really funny? I don't want to settle for miniature version (49 or 52 mm). I have a wrist of 7.5.. do you guys think i might be able to pull it off? Thanks in advance for your generous input.
  4. Wow Legend. You make me want a bronzo! Now where is my credit card..... ;-)
  5. I read on one of the thread(can't remember which) that you shouldn't be too concerned with the 'high beat/ low beat' stuff. 21600 is already high beat. Some of the past gen watches had beats ways below those figures without any problem . I'm not an expert at movements but that's what i learned from more enlightened friends in the forum ;-)
  6. i see. thanks guys. Never seen that before and was a bit startled when it looked like went down.
  7. This domain has just been registered for one of our customers! Domain registration and webhosting at best prices. This is what shows on my screen.. Is it just me?
  8. Sorry to post competitor(?)'s site matters here but I believe most of the members here are members of other two forums as well. So... What did just happen at RWI? does anyone know? Just went blank and the domain seems to have been purchased by someone else..
  9. Never seen anything like it. That's for sure ;-) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  10. Hi james, don't worry too much. I think you've done the right thing as to call them to explain your end of the story. Usually law firms will not pursue any case where there is no money to extract. Even the good firms will not do it simply because there is no justification (economically) to do so. Even if they take you to court they have a very slim case of winning any damages in your case ( you are not the culprit of copyright infringement. Damages are rewarded to those whose intellectual property rights have been seriously injured by the accused's commercial actions). I will not go too much in legal details but there simply isn't a case for them. By the way, don't send the watch to the firm. They will use it as evidence against you. Destroy with hammer and send the picture instead. Telling them you destroyed it as soon as you found out it was a counterfeit item. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  11. For real? I thought the gen would have really good lume... being a 'diver' watch.. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  12. The lume is green and you are right, it's the reflection of blue sky ;-) But like I mentioned the lume is slopy. Definitely requires extra lume job. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  13. That's awesome! By the way, how's the lume on your diver. Mine seems to fade a bit within a very short period of time. Even when I've recharged it under a direct sunlight it is not that great. I definitely need a new super-lume job!! Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Wow That's brilliant! I hope it did not melt too much rubber on the exterior though ;-) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Powerdrill perhaps?? ;-) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

  17. Thank you sarge! ;-) You 'must' put this on the top of the list. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  18. From what I read from various threads, I think the most tell tell difference is the triangular marking at 12. It is smaller on v3.5 as per gen. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Yes it clicks per minute markings but unfortunately it is only one directional so if you get it wrong you'll have to rotate all the way around!! ;-p Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I am not 100% how it's supposed to function as in gen diver, but it does rotate with super accuracy w confident 'clicks' ; When it rotates it is perfectly aligned with markings on the watch face. Hope it answers your question :-) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
