Do you think the models you buy right now will increase value over time? -
Awesome car man. (If questions are too personal/direct; don't feel the need to answer, i'm just very curious since I love the G!) How many KM's were on it when you bought it, and hm did you buy it for? Also; what did that interior cost you? I'd love to do such a project, but I don't want to lose money on it. I love the car though!

A: Only thing I know is that it costed approx. €6.000.000.000 Q: What's your favourite word?

A: Don't have a Partner currently, previous ones I had, short answer: No. Q: Do people know the beautiful watch on your wrist is a rep?

Beautiful shot of the Tudor Black Bay and the Rolex Submariner No-date. Shot in Lausanne, Switzerland.

A: I'm more of a cat person, when it comes to having them. Reason why is because a dog needs "too much maintenance" in my opinion. Of course, depends on the dog, depends on where you live; but It wouldn't be able to fit in my time-schedule. Q: How long do you spend in front of the mirror in the morning?

I was wondering if there are any major problems with my Sub
Avenue replied to xxmanxx's topic in The Rolex Area
The crown that should be "laser-etched" At 6" is way too visible in your glass, also it's dislocated of the actual position. You should also make pictures of the bracelet and clasp, and more "ugly" pictures of the watch; instead of only taking reflecting-light pictures to portrait the watch good. -
A: I would go back to the Seychelles, the North Island resort, where I have last been perhaps 8 years ago. Q: What's the funniest name of a girl/guy you have ever "dated"/been with?
-
A: When I was sitting on the back of a 1000cc Kawasaki Ninja and we were overtaking. Q: What's the furthest you've ever travelled?

Every next reader has to answer the question above, and formulate a new question him/herself. Quote the message of the last asker and Answer! Q: What's the closest you've ever been to death? A:

Advice on sourcing a couple rep parts- explorer 2
Avenue replied to lukenorris2011's topic in The Rolex Area
A response from a TD might take ages, as they are very busy and usually only respond to new orders/future orders. I'd see if it fits any clasp/bezel (gen-like) and try to source parts on various forums; or even check eBay or another website. Might get very luck and find a member from RWG with spare parts. Good luck! -
Hello from a long-time lurker and vintage Rolex lover

Welcome! -
Hi, Congrats on your new Milgauss. To respond to your question, no; 31 hours of non-wearing time is not enough for that to happen. A milgauss should have a power reserve of 48 hours, as it's a rep; that'll probably be a bit less, but not 17 hours less than that. Perhaps you haven't winded it correctly, or not at all. Just wearing it, might not be enough (to start with); you should wind the crown a little. 30-40 full spins will be enough, then wear it properly. Once winded and worn, it'll perhaps get you somewhere near 48 hours. You won't have to wind it all the time if you wear it, but you'll have to wind it (in order to not-lose time) after you haven't worn it for awhile. If your watch was not fully wound to start with wearing only 3-4 hour a day would hardly top its power reserve. They need at least 8-10 hours wearing each day to keep power reserve topped up.On a full manual wind when watch is at peak power reserve it should run between 40 to 48 hours while off wrist. If you're wearing it for 4 hours of sitting at a desk and typing, it's unlikely to put enough power into the spring to keep the watch running (my Daytona just stopped on me, yesterday, while I was wearing it!). If you're out jogging for those 4 hours, with arms pumping, you'd be good to go. Give it a good wind (40 turns, clockwise as you look at the stem) and you should be fine. Good luck!

Who is the best TD to buy the light bulb from?
