  1. Indeed a very nice watch. Also too big for my wrist. I tried it on several times. Although it is 43mm it wears smaller IMO. So for me in summertime no problem but as soon as you wear long sleeves it might be too big and thick for me. Therefore I bought the Seadweller classic. Guess what, when you are used to the modern sport-models of Rolex the classic SD looks too small Therefore none of the two for me unfortunately.
  2. Thanks and nice pics tech.. I did not find the SO with Swiss ETA movement. Is that correct ore did I miss something? I looked at Angus, Joshua and Andrew. Or is there no need for the Swiss movement and is the A2824-2 a perfect choice.
  3. Thanks for your remark. I wanted to say that the Noob No Date and BP No Date do not have SuperLume. There is no difference. I mentioned this because some of the TD's tell us that the BP version does have SuperLume. The only difference is the color; that's correct. When there is no difference in the lume (except the color) it puzzles me why Puretime and Toro's only sell Noob No Date and Trusty Time only sell BP No Date'. I hope to get some respons on this question. Maybe we can learn from it.
  4. Hi all, I am interested in a new project. I know the quality of the Rolex sport models but do not know the quality of the Omega PO Ceramic 42mm and the Breitling SuperOcean 44mm. I do not have any experience with the quality of these rep's. I read something about the PO that is has problems with the HE valve crown but do not know the details. So which of these three models is your favorite for the summertime and what can you say in general about the Omega PO and Breitling SO rep's: case, crystal, dial and hands, bracelet and clasp and of course which movement is the best out of the box when you buy Omega or Breitling? Which movement would you choose: Swiss ETA or Asian ETA. Are the Swiss ETA movements (2824-2) they use in the PO gen movements are the same as in Rolex 50% Swiss ETA parts and 50% Asian parts. Does it matter whether you buy one from Angus, Joshua or Andrew or do the have the same watches and from the same Factory. I am new on Omega and Breitling so I do not know whether they also come from Noob and BP or only from Noob. Thanks for your help.
  5. The pearl of the BP is IMO the same (heights) only the triangle is different. The color of both pearls is different. I don't know wether the bracelet of the Noob will fit on the BP. I would only replace the clasp. Maybe the case of the BP is also a bit thicker and in that case the bracelet of the Noob won't fit. I found some pics of the pearl was forgotten to post.
  6. Hi all, I started this tread a while ago because I wanted to find out which is the best or ultimate out of the box Rolex sport model Noob factory or BP Factory. I read almost all the post which followed on my question and I also asked some of the RWG TD's about their opinion. I found out that there is only a difference between the Noob and BP version Submariner No Date when you look at the case and dial. There is no difference in the lume; although some of the TD's told me that only the BP would have SuperLumed dial. When you see this model either on the website of Puretime, Trusty Time, Precious Time or Toto's you will see the pictures with a SuperLumed dial. I will show you that there is no difference at all. First I will post the Submariner No Date Noob and second the Submariner No date BP. Both watches have the A2836-2 movement. Submariner No Date Noob http://www.fotos-hochladen.net]
  7. My advise: send Andrew a mail. Explain the problem and give him your order number and send a pic of the damage. Ask him what to do. He knows what you can and cannot do. I saw that you are located in the USA. You can also search for a watchmaker here on RWG who is located in the USA or ask TC or BK for advise. You can find them on RWG Trusted Dealers. Good luck.
  8. This is a beauty and thanks for sharing these great pics. I will pm you with the question 'which TD' ?
  9. Hi all, I read some topics about the new GMT II with BLNR bezel. On the website of Puretime you see a different color of the lume on the dial and the hands. Is this problem solved already. I do not see the BLNR version on the website of Trusty Time, Toro's and Precious Time. Is it only available via Angus at the moment.
  10. Although I agree on all the answers members gave you already I understand your concern when you order the first time. You expect a conversation as if you are talking with a jeweler. Of course you may not expect that. I had the same experience with Angus: short answers and he not always answers all your questions. When you like a more open and complete conversation I would advise you the communicate with Andrew from Trusty Time; also a perfect A+++ TD.
  11. Of course it depends on your budget. maybe you can consider to buy the Subc with the A2836-2. You will find the differences between the A2813 and A2836-2 here on RWG.
  12. Depends on the model. Precious Time and Toro do have some Noob models very cheap but they do not have the SuperLumed dial and hands. And these models do not give you the possibibility to change rep parts for genuine.
  13. I ask Andrew about it. He said that the Noob Sub is running out and that he will ship the BP from now. He also said that the pics on the website aren't up dated every time so you need to wait till you receive the QC pics from him. The 'problem' with the space between officially and certified is solved The main difference he said is that BP use SuperLume and Noob does not. Furthermore the BP has a glass cladded pearl from now and all parts are interchangeable with genuine. So it seems to be possible to make a Franken Sub Date or Sub No Date from now.
  14. Hi all, I consider to buy another Rolex sports model and still do not know the difference between a Noob or BP Factory. On pics I only see that the inscription in the clasp is difference. Noob has silver inscription and BP has black inscription of Rolex. Furthermore I found out that BP uses SuperLume on their dial and hands. But are these the only differences or are there more? I like to learn more about these factories.
  15. This Datejust looks nice. Is the dial grey or black. On some pics it looks grey and on others black?
  16. I had one too. Does not need any mods. Only my wrist needs mods because it is too small for this stunning watch.
  17. I would say the ROO Diver with Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement. I had one myself. It runs plus 2/24H but sold it because it was too big for my wrist. Stunning watch perfect quality case, strap and also the movement.
  18. IMO Rolex changes some tiny things over the years. I had a gen GMT2C in 2008. It also had the green lume. The same happens with the date. You can find out when you collected the brochures from Rolex the last years. Than you also see differences in the date.
  19. I agree on buying one with the A2836-2 movement or you need to be sure you buy with a gen Swiss ETA 2836-2. The ones they built in the rep's today are not 100% Swiss ETA 2836-2. Thats also what you can read here on RWG and the sister forum RWI about the difference of the A2836-2 and Swiss ETA 2836-2.
  20. Congrats with your beautiful Gmt. Thanks for these nice pics.
  21. I will send TC a email. I visit California. Maybe I can pick it up
  22. Can you send us some pics of your gen Seadweller with the polished bracelet. Thx.
  23. IMO the bracelet of a Rolex sports models such as the Seadweller or Submariner does not have polished links.
