  1. Hi You are located in NY so I do not think a modder from EU is the best choice. I started some weeks ago the thread 'Noob or BP'. Puretime (Angus) only sells Noob and Trusty Time (Andrew) only sells BP. The best combination seems to be: the case of the BP and the dial, hands and bracelet from Noob. The lume on the Noob is better than the lume on the BP. You can see the pics of both versions in my post. When you buy the cheapest BP from Andrew with 21J movement I would search for a bargain Noob with a Swiss movement and ask a modder in the US to make the best Sub Date from both watches. With the Noob I can help you out. The link to the 'Noob or BP' post: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/161432-submariner-noob-or-bp-factory/page-5?hl=%20noob%20%20or%20%20bp
  2. Thanks, I realize that members could see it as a 'sales thread'. That was not my intention. The watch is already sold via a sister forum.
  3. 42mm new in box. Still wait to upgrade again to VIP so I can post the PO Cr here. The link with one pic: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/163567-the-best-out-of-the-box-omega-po-ceramic-42mm/. You can see that the crown screwed in totally.
  4. Hi all, I read all the post about the issues on the Omega PO Ceramic regarding the bezel, lume on markers and hands, crown issues, logo issues and last but not least very big problems with the clasp. I wanted to find out myself whether they manage to solve these problems or not. Of course a little risk but the investment is to overcome when it should not be solved. I will post one pic I made today. Although the watch is really 100% top I found out the first seconds that I am not a Omega guy. I need to wait for my upgrade again because there are some problems at the moment to upgrade to VIP . Anyway, I can already show you a pic and later this week I will post this watch in the sales area. Enjoy.
  5. I just received the Omega PO Ceramic 42mm black from a TD. This watch has no issues on the bezel, lume, crown, logo, dial, markers, clasp etc. I even looks as a Franken PO Cr. Unfortunately it seems that I am no Omega guy. I need to wait before posting it here because there are problems to upgrade to VIP. I had a VIP account but the last payment went wrong so I need some days before I can post my sale.
  6. That's bad indeed. I received mine this week with no issues on the bezel, crown, lume, bracelet etc. Although this is the best out of the box Omega PO Ceramic I saw last month I am not a Omega guy and want the sell it here. Unfortunately I cannot post today in the sales area. I hope they fix this problem soon so I can post my Omega PO Cr here
  7. My advise: buy a new clasp on -> http://www.anyreplicawatches.com/item.php?item_id=1581
  8. I would only change the lume. There are several members here who can help you out. I would never change the markers myself.
  9. I found some posts about 'website down'. At the moment they have the Moon Cake festival in China and three days holiday. So there can be a delay in the delivering from the Factory to the TD and therefore from your TD to you. People are visiting the websites of the TD's more often and they are overloaded and can crash. I want to share this with you. I am also waiting and now I know that it takes a little more time to process our orders.
  10. Hi All, maybe I can help you because I bought a Rolex from him (he is a University student Law) this year in May and spoke to the guy in Amsterdam. He is serious and helpful but also naive. Sooner or later they pick him up. It is not allowed as we all know to make some business out of selling rep's. He sells via his website and the local marketplace in the Netherlands (Marktplaats). Normally he only sells Sub and Seadweller 43mm. He orders in China but does not know from whom he is buying. You pay him euro 289 for the watch you can order yourself for euro 245. When it is not in stock (he has a couple of watches) you need to pay in advance and wait three to four weeks. With our TD's you can discuss after receiving the QC pics and you can ask for advise here on RWG or some of our sister forums. He can show you the movement but who is an expert to see whether everything is ok. My GMT II had some problems with the lume, the PR and accuracy and last but not least the second time. He said he would fix it and that I should send the watch to him?! You can pick it up and when there are problems you cannot visit him. They do not have a shop. You will meet him in a coffee corner in Amsterdam. My advise, order a watch at our TD's and share your experience here with us. That brings us further and in case of problems there is always someone who can help you. Have a nice watch day.
  11. My advise: ask the TD for a new clasp. Or when the TD does not reply on this warrantee question, you could order a gen clasp at ofrei.com. GL
  12. Thanks. I found out that Josha should be: www.p-cls.com. Pffft I didn't order yet..
  13. What is the main or most important difference between the two?
  14. I agree and almost pull the trigger to purchase one too. Just need to know whether it only comes from Noob. Is this from Andrew?
  15. Does this Breitling SO only comes from the Noob Factory or does BK also have it? What are the differences between these Factories regarding the Breitling SO 44mm. Pics? Thanks for your reply.
  16. Hi all, I am interested in buying the Breitling SuperOcean Abyss 44mm (yellow). I am new on Breitling rep's so I need your advise. Does Breitling only come from the Noob factory or also from the BP factory. Are there differences between the quality of the Breitling SO from these factories. My most important question is 'What do you prefer? The SuperOcean with Asian 2824 movement (USD 278) or the Swiss Selita SW240 movement (USD 428). I am also interested in your opinion about the quality of the Selita SW240 movements they use in the rep's. I know that Tag Heuer use them but do our Chinese fellow's use the same quality or is it just the same as the Swiss ETA movements they use: partly Swiss and partly Asian. Last but not least. Thank you for your help!
  17. Looks perfect and gives me confidence for my new purchase at PT. Thx
  18. Thanks. Okay thats the reason I only found reviews on Noob. Is BP still behind? It puzzles me that TT only sells BP and the other TD's only sell Noob. Andrew is a perfect TD so you would expect that he only sells the best out of the box.
  19. Hi all, I am close to pull to trigger on a new purchase. It will be the Rolex Explorer II black 42mm with A2836-2 mov. I am still not sure which of the two: Noob or BP version. I read several posts about the Noob version but did not found any about the BP version. Did I miss something? Please help me with this question. When there are threads about it please share the links with us. Of course I can purchase both and keep the best of them, but .... that's not the way I want to proceed. Can you share some pics with a comparison. Thanks for your help!
  20. I agree with fraggle42. Mostly the Swiss ETA movements are 2836-1 movements from the 80's. When it is 2836-2 it is partly Swiss ETA and Asian ETA and that causes problems. I was a nerd on movements and only wanted Swiss ETA. After some good discussions with watchmakers who are interested in rep's I am cured. They all told me: buy a A2836-2 or A2824-2 and you will have a new movement. Give it some oil and it runs great. Since than, only Asian for me. You can read my post regarding the Seadweller which was sold here. The watchmaker had to replace several parts to get it running. The same problem as rikramer. When you are located in EU or the Netherlands send it to rolexman, great professional.
  21. Nice watch. I hope this will get an automatic movement sometimes in the Factory and than..... I will buy it also.
  22. Nice video you share with us. Also great kind of a review on the watch also. When you keep the watch you could remove the cyclops. When you change watches and sell them it could be a problem. I saw a thread from someone who removed it and of course you can see the date better. IMO it kills the special look of this Aquaracer Tag Heuer with the cyclops at 9. I would not remove it.
  23. Hi all, I am into a new project: the black version of the Explorer II 42mm. I have some questions: * is there only a Noob version in Ultimate 1:1 or also a BP version * which movement do you prefer: Swiss ETA or A2836-2 (accuracy and pr) * which TD would you choose: Joshua ask $218, Toro ask $229 and Andrew $268 all for the A2836-2 movement. * does this model comes only with CHS or also with ICHS and what would you prefer Thank you for helping me to find out about this nice model of Rolex.
