  1. That was a custom job, substituting an ETA movement into a 45mm case that previously had an Asian movement in, if I remember correctly.

The PO that is the subject of the thread doesn't look too clever. The bezel is an insipid shade of orange and there are two different types of engraving on the clasp - one laser etched and the other machine engraved.

where is the "ultimate" 45mm PO TTK promised us a month or two ago?....

  2. Hey all,

*NOTE: In light of By-tors's post, i hope no one has a problem with this post. But I just got to get info on this strap!

So, I know very little about straps. I ran accross this strap on the Paneristi site.

    I have to have one!

    it is friggin beautifull!

the guy said it was a DIRK Vero Buccaro? is that the Maker or the style or color? can anyone point me in the right direction to get me one of these?

    thanx

  3. Minute Hand....

    Logo....

Well..guys... I did heard you. But sometimes some things arent easy to do esp. talking with factory. =P

Anyway, even without those things, I can tell you the next 8th shipment of Omega POs coming in next week is likely to be all snapped up again.

    =)

Andrew, Pretty, Pretty please have a "Ultimate" 45mm PO made!

  4. Hardly my job to check if he is still using the same adress he used while I was buying 5 watches.

well, i was with you untill the above post. your response is rather ignorant. in life [censored] happens, Joshua has no controll over his e-mail being hijacked, all he can do is inform us of it, and give an alternate mode of contact. which he did, I even remember seeing his post on the e-mail issue.

I have never delt with joshua, But i have delt with Eddie who is as highly praised as Joshua. they also charge more than other dealers.

I bought one watch from Eddie, did all my homework asked all the right questions, and he was the only one who told me he could get me what I wanted, but he charges like $75 more than any other dealer I had contacted. but he came highly recomended so I figured WTF, but when the watch came, it was the same as what the other dealers told me they could do...and not what he told me he could do. and like your expereience, he answerd all my e-mails before the sale promptly, but after the sale he rarley answerd, and never took care of the problem. Fortunatly there are great members on this (actuatly RWG I) board who, after reading my complaint, helped me out with the problem...and it was ultimatly taken care of....with no thanx to Eddie i might add.

    Just my experience.

  5. Love these 196 Rep's so much I stepped up to the 7753 version (from Angus/Puretime)

    ...And wrist shot...

Here are side by sides of 7750 and 7753 196, Only visual difference I see is the date window.

Functionaly the only difference is the date pusher on the 7753 version is functional, but they both keep great time

  6. I would prefer the dealers post their prices. But they can do what they want. I do enjoy browsing thru Andrews threads with his prices listed. It helps in my decision making. And I am an impulse buyer. Like someone here said.. "I like, I buy"

i agree. i like to see prices. but if a dealer dosent want to, why make him.
