  1. This is why i am getting burrned out on this forum, someone always seems to be f&@king complaining about something! Not commenting on wether the complaint is right or wrong, justified or not..its just that I am just tired of hearing it....
  2. Seems par with the course. I have had a collector send me EMS tracking within hours of payment, and received the package in 3 days from payment....and I have had the same collector disapear for weeks after payment, with no communication at all, but in the end I always have received my package... Right or wrong, thats the way it seems to work, in the end all I really care about is getting a quality product, which I alwyas have (been lucky I guess)....in this game patience is a virtue.
  3. Oh damn! that looks sweet! great pics! Think maybe we will have to hook up for a drink so I can inspect yer ne watch in person!
  4. looks sweet! .....but for the cost of the watch+mods you could have probobly bought a used gen....
  5. I was hoping someone with the new IWC Cousteau could do me a favor and measure the length of the strap, I am considering getting a Cousteau, but I am concerned that it wont fit. thanx
  6. HAHA! how do you take your coffee? ..Cream and two lumps!
  7. I am waiting for a reply as well.........
  8. HEHE, sorry, didnt mean to be a tease, I just dont have the time to take/post pics till the weekend. BUT, just pull the trigger, the fit, finish and accuracy of the Ingy is AMAZING! this is one of the few reps that with a couple mods (lume, AR and date wheel) no one could ever call you out without opening the case back. Some say the hands are too short, but only ever so slightly, no one could ever tell unless they had a gen side by side, and than they still probobly wouldnt notice. ...oh, and The Zigmeister didnt lume the outer 12, 3, 6, 9 markers, I never knew they were suposed to be lumed, so I never asked him to. but I think it would be pretty dificult anyway, those numbers are very small. @cheiftang, Just to make sure there is no confusion, my intention was not to critisize. You have done an excelent job, and made a big effort for us...and the result is great and I have no regrets...its just one of those things that no one will probobly ever notice, but it buggs me every time I see it... But perhaps we can make it better, maybe you can have them take a pic of whatever contraption it is they use to hold the crystals and post it here, there must be a few engineers on this board that might be able to come up with somthing very simple to improve on their contraption.....only a thought.
  9. Hey All, Just got back my Ingy from The Zigmeister, man it looks sweet! i always feel sketchy about sending my watches to Rob due to possible custom issues, but it is always worth the stress when I get them back! I had him send off the crystal for double AR, lume the dial and hands and service the movement. the AR really makes a difference on this! one drag is the areas on the crystal that dont get AR...Chieftang pointed out this issue, so I was aware of it going in, but it seems like a larger area than I was expecting. over all it is not that noticable though, and I would do it again...infact I am! but perhaps there is somthing that can be done to adress this problem in the future. I will post some pics over the weekend. ***Update*** Here are some pics......better late than never Before: After More info here
  10. I am in for one for sure...this will be a domed fiddy crystal, any problems with this? what is the time table on this? I would like to also get single sided AR on a watch I plan to order, if this run is a few weeks out, I will get it orderd so I can have it done as well.
  11. Hey All, So I stopped by my local Panerai AD at the, Stanford Mall, they had not one but two 250 Chrono's. One on strap and one on bracelet. WOW! that is a friggin SWEET [censored] WATCH! I have a 7753 196 wich I thought was a nice rep....but not anymore, it pales in comparison with the quality of the gen! I have scene gen 111's and 177's, and I felt the quality was not "vastly" superior, but the gen chrono daylight is vastly superior in quality, IMH.

    New Inge

OH Damn! I dig the 44mm ceramic!!!
  13. I got my first pam almost 2 years ago, only been recognized once, and that was the other day by some complete A-hole who kept friggin buggin me while I was trying to eat lunch! However, I have had alot of "wow! thats a nice/kewl watch!"
  14. Yes, this question has been asked a hundred times, do a search. ..........but my vote is the 196!
  15. wait for the IWC Cousteau...and if you are worried about the movement, save a extra couiple hundred and have The Zigmeister service it!
  16. holly crap, $65 bux? thats like a third the cost of the whole watch! Damn, I will have to think about this...
  17. YES! my Ingy is already with The Zigmeister getting the AR treatment...this would put it over the top fer shizzle!
  18. you are on crack if you think this will be less than $300. I figure $350 - 400 would be a good price....if all the issues are fixed. but $500 is toooo much!
  19. White face is Phantasy, no?
  20. I love my BSFSO! I paid $295 for it though....I would say it is totaly worth the $330'ish that the "cartel" dealers are asking for it, but you can find it for under 300 if you ask around... the HBB are a little over priced IMO, I kinda think $350-400 for the SS, $400'ish for the RG and $450'ish for the ceramic would be more acceptable. I am kinda scared to find out what the new IWC cousteau is gonna be priced at...
  21. the blue rocks! really pops with the AR also!
