I tried one of these on today, and I must say- they are VERY striking. The bezel is especially attractive, and really catches the light. I was surprised how different it looks/feels compared to a SA on pro 2.

Thanks for the replies/links guys. After consideration, I'm going to skip the rep. The best I can do on a new strap is about $400, and this sure seems steep for a strap with mixed reviews. There has been a ton of talk lately on rep straps, but I'm looking for the closest (non-breitling) gen within a reasonable price. Good to hear Josh is taking care of you. He is the best in my books for this. You are NOT too picky, the prices are high enough that we shouldnt be having to put up with this! Please do post up some pics when you get it sorted.

Simple answer- The SA fvcking rocks. Bracelet is too thin, blobs for lume markers, colours are off on white and blue, bezel stamping could be sharper. Other than that, it's spot on. For sure one of the best out of the box IMHO. Haven't seen a red strap.....

Alright guys, thanks for the replies. I think I will try out the rep croco- at $40, there is not much to lose, and I will always have the bracelet to go back to.

What is the 'rep' tell on this model? I had always thought this was one of the best out of the box!

Group, I'm currently putting together a Super Avenger and am looking for some advice from those who have a gen Croco strap. Is it worth the extra cost? From my research so far, I have heard that the gens are not all that comfortable. Is is worth paying the extra $300 to have a gen, or are the reps good enough that they look and feel close enough to the real deal? Thanks in advance.

Just horrible pricing, I think they'll miss the mark with this one.

There is no "correct white", at least from what I have seen, only a touched up photo. Hopefully, you'll prove me wrong, but I doubt it. Fantastic watch, but the dial colour drives me crazy
