  1. Oh sorry. i actually sold the daytona. I didnt want to keep it, since there are sooo many good reps of it.

and the gold offshore, is the old model with the quartz movement. I stripped it to use the leather strap on my new roo, but i could figure out how to unscrew the old ones. silly me.

im currently considering to buy a gen ikepod. Very special watch indeed.

  2. Hello. Finally my first collection display. Ive been collecting ofr a bout 5 years, but the early crap doesnt count :whistling: :whistling:

next one is the 004 project watch i bought from fitch. It predates the davidsen pvds, so its a pretty amazing piece.

  3. get the roger dubuis easy diver. I havent gotten as many compliments on any other watch i own. Ive got the white pearl face version, and its beautiful.

Most people dont know what it is, but ive met a few that just bend over backwards when they spot it. I had a guy thinking it was the white gold version just two days ago. And he was wearing a gen offshore.

When i told him it was a rep, he just went bananas. "whats the point in buing gens anymore" he said.

    great watch

  4. Which ROO did you get ? The one that interests me is the MBW version, that one looks so nice, despite the wrong subdial positioning!

I didnt get the mbw. Would have loved one, especially the end of days prototype, but i have no clue how to get them (other than going to mbk in bangkok)

I got the one from angus. Black faced, asian 7750 with rubber strap. Its pretty good i guess. The only complaint i have is that the bezel treatment is kinda off, compared to the main case. ille show some pics soon.

gonna do the whole collection ;)

  5. Welcome! You're right RC seems to be a little slow most of the time...

How is your easy diver? Don't think I've seen any reviews of that yet.

The easy diver is superb. One of my faves. the only thing is that the chrono pushers, arent screw down. I think they are supposed to be. Other than that, its a beauty. Its a very good fit to the wrist.

I got the asian roo after the easy diver, and the diver is a far better rep. Even the leather band is quite good.

Anybody else then me had problems with the roo rubber band clasp? It digs in to my wrist, and is quite uncomfortable.

my favorites though, are still the davidsen pvds. they are soo nice. had to get three of those.

  6. Fortis B-42 Cosmonaut chronograph. 7750 movement . Would seem to be an easy replica to produce. Genuines go for abput $1800 so it is well above the Mendoza line minimum price for a viable replica and on a price point equal with the Moonwatch

And this one is my personal favorite ever since I started reading Clive Cussler. IMO, there would be a stampede for this replica. A std ETA movement would do it.

    The Doxa 750T professional

I reckon the costs of starting the production, would run up the costs close to genuine. Fortis watches arent that expensive (but nice none the less)
