Damn, do I ever like it. I stare at it quite often! I have worn it everyday. It Has a 7753 seems real quiet and keeps great time, say compared with my IPhone. Bracelet is very comfortable and solid. The date correction is a piece of cake using the button in the helium release valve. The crown seems very well seated and secure. Very smooth operating. I've played with the chrono a little. Buttons are positive. Sweep is super smooth and resets perfectly. The running seconds at 9:00 are also steady. So thanks for the help and encouraging words. I'm in New York. After a long while of reading, learning and comparing countless pictures, I ordered this watch from Puretime. They were very helpful and answered my many questions. Shipping by EMS was fast and once the watch hit the States updates are available at USPS. It cleared ISC in about an hour then to the next hub then here. Six days total. Fast. The watch is a beauty. The date font and buckle are not perfect, but you would never know. It's an A7753, date set at 10:00 just like the gen. Seems very smooth and quiet. I'm very pleased! Here you go! This is the watch I ultimately ordered after rejecting the first one I tried for. I Ordered the first one on 3/14 took a couple days to get payment instructions. I received the QC pics on 3/19. After exchanging several emails about issues, and rejecting it, I finally settled on the new version. With the help of a detailed review, thanks to Mr Pap, I believe and some other members. That was the one for me. I really like it, and after comparing countless pictures, it looked really good. I paid a bit more but oh well, it is my first Rep! Thanks for helping a new guy. Thanks kernow, I know about the short hands, but that didn't bother me. The logo I wasn't absolutely sure of it's feet state of being, but thought the letters were not "linked" together properly. Those items I could live with but the bezel and clasp were the killers. I thought maybe the TD would fix that themselves. Anyway that's why I came here! Hope the patient part is not too heinous. Well, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to do. Just thought the discrepancy on Toro's site was odd. Could happen to anyone I suppose. Plus, as I'm getting closer to doing this it excites me like a child! I haven't gotten anything for just me in a while! Most of the reviews are pretty old and I have not been able to find much on the 2225.80 or the one with the red Seamaster lettering. A little hand holding is all.

New to this and need help with a Seamaster Purchase I have been a member here for a couple of years now and I'm about ready to make a purchase. The watch I want I believe is an Omega 2225.80. Puretime calls it a Seamaster Chrono Diver SS Blue. Toro Lists it as Seamaster 2008 Pro Chrono 300. I have contacted 2 TD's that have them in stock Pure time and Toro Bravo. Puretime is a little less money. not so significant. The add on Toro Bravo's site actually shows 2 different watches in the same add. What I notice in the add is the lume above the chrono dial at noon has two little lume pieces where others in subsequent pictures do not. Being new I am not allowed to post links, but both TD's have these watches in the seamaster portion of their websites I'm sorry you can't just click there. Any help with these watches would be greatly appreciated. A couple of years ago these were not available anywhere. These guys say they can ship next week due to the Chinese New Year. Thanks in advance folks and as I complete the process I will promise to post Pictures!
