  1. The watch maker told me it is a RONDA movement instead of an ETA. This RONDA movement is not cheap and it is really a SWISS MADE movement.

The non-Chrono version uses an Asian 21J automatic movement.

I just took some pics with 1. PAM127 and 2.B&R 46mm on my wrist (I don't have a big wrist as well) and this may help you to decide whether you should buy this or not.

    Hope these help.

  2. damn, I wish they'd rep that fancy lookin bracelet, too!

The factory is not going to replicate it at this moment.

Man, aside from a few minor fit and finish issues (the crispness of the cts in the bezel screws, dial print color saturation, date window and pusher finish, less aggressive brushing on the rep, etc) there is not one single flaw on the front of this watch. A rebrush and some hevy dty poishing and this is as good as out of the box reps get. I'm starting to believe the "Golden age of reps" schtick...

Whichever factory did this did a great job. I hope they decide to do more nusual watches.

The finish issues will be solved when the final product is out, this is only a sample and the watch maker had disembled it many times.

Looks Great Angus...this is my favorite version of this piece:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Hublot-Big-Bang-REF-30...1QQcmdZViewItem

I will ask the supplier to make this one well if the sales is good (I think you don't mind to own 2 versions of HBB).

Man, That's the same one I like, also the rose gold with ceramic bezel.

I'm asking you Angus, Is it possible to ask for a special version with swiss movement 7753 and ceramic bezel (also the steel and ceramic braclet) with any price. It will be the perfect watch.

    Thanks

I don't think so, firstly, the dial has to be changed for a 7753 movement and secondly the bracelet is not replicated because the watch maker bought the gen with rubber strap only, he said the cost making the bracelet is too high.

  3. oh dear lord no...my bank account is going to cry.

But i will open it with open arms!! looks beautiful!!

I will send together with some tissue with the watch :-p

Looks great, but asian 7750 scares the h3ll out of me.

I can do a special order of Swiss ETA-7750 for you if you want.

YES!!! This was definitely the next rep I wanted done 1:1!

    :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  4. Yes, I have been waiting on this for a long long time.

My question is about the movement. It is quartz but the original is an automatic. How realistic is the quartz movement.

Still getting me one though :)

The original one is a modified ETA-2892A2 movement, running second at 3.

An Asian 7750 cannot be used because 1. Too thick; 2. Running second at 9.

This Ronda Swiss Quartz movement is even more expensive than the Asian 7750 movement, with running second at 3 and working chrono. That is why we chose this as the movement.

  5. anyone know if they are repping the "black magic" version?

    Sure! But not yet started.

Holy crap, I hate the BB as I feel it is a cheap copy of the AP ROO, but wow this things looks bloody nice. May have to get one.

    Sure!

Flaw: Not sure if this is what you mean but the gen has a REAL carbon Fiber dial, this dial looks like stamped plastic or something.

    No, not this one.

What a BEAUTY! Im all over one of those!

    Thanks :)

I em in for 2 of this watch also Angus :Jumpy:

    :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Caseback should be brushed. I also think the datewheel font is a little off?

YES!!! Your are a genius Admin, but the date font is alright.

Looks good. I almost hope this watch comes out next year as my dance card is rapidly filling up.

Oh... it will be out next month, may be I reserve one for you.

The flaw is on the SS version is it does not have the carbon fiber dial....also, how much will they be?......Thanks, Wan

    Yes it does.

The price has not confirmed yet.

    :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Interesting. Not made by one of the usual high end PAM/Rolex/IWC factories, i bet. Fit and finish is more like the nicer "day-date" chronos we've seen over the years--like the Le Plongeur Chrono, the FM Ronde chrono, and the Brieling Monbriallant. All heartbreakers because they were all sweet reps aside from the idiotic movement.

I wonder if this is a watch that a year or so ago would have been released as a day-date chrono, but now the asia 7750 is cheap enough to use instead...I sure hope so because that would mean that the days of wasted-effort phony chronos and if-you-want-a-nice-rep-you-better-like-PANERAIIWCOMEGAROLEX days are over.

    :victory:

    Well

    ladies and gentleman

This is just the PROTOTYPE and the real thing will definitely be much nicer and refined (without the grease and dirt) LOL...

This Maker has the BEST AR Sapphire technology applied to his watches. Mind Blowing...

You can be rest assured that all the new watches will be available at Joshua and my website.

The list goes on.... and the Makers are ready to pass us these new stuff before X'mas..

    =)

    Enjoy!!

    ANDREW

I am sorry Andrew, this is no longer a prototype, the final product will be the same as this besides the caseback is brushed, they will still with the dirt and grease if he put them in the same drawer :D

Every dealer will have them on their respective albums/web-sites, our customers will have more choices :)

Looks pretty good! I like the rose gold... hmmm... what size is this though...

if they can do a nice date window with the sloping edges... why doesn't someone do it for the VC Overseas???

    It is 44.5mm.

Ummm, actually this factory makes the Overseas as well, I don't know why...

i love this one! can't wait to see the final product. i'm in for one :D

This is the final product already besides the caseback will be brushed.

I hope they make the special bracelet type

Sorry, the factory says they wont make at this moment.

    a bracelet would be sweeeeeet

Yes, I think so, but unfortunately the manufacturer is not going to make it (at least this moment).

    Compare rep and gen

    I cant find the flaw........

    159274-12706.jpg159274-12707.jpg

haha, the flaw does not show in the front :-)

  6. How much is this going to be, and when will it be available?

Price is not confirmed, and the appox release date is mid-Dec.

very nice!! I guess there'll be a chopard and a hublot under my tree this year!

    And mine, too :Jumpy:

they making this on a bracelet?

    159259-12709.jpg

Sorry no, the bracelet is very costy and difficult to make.

Very sharp Angus! I'll be eagerly anticipating more info on this one... :)

Once I have more info and I will post here.

Unfortunately being a Gerald Genta fan....I could never consider this piece of tat......the design is awful.....how it won a design award I'll never know....if my designer had offered this up with all of those double slot screws higgedly piggedly all over the place...I'd have shot him in the forehead....I'm not afraid to say.....'there's not a pun o' this...hingin the right wey'......!

Different people have different tastes :-)

Never liked Big Bang BUT I wouldnt mind getting one for a test drive. If the price is enticing, I might just get two. I'm in for one at this moment. :)

Me, too. I have never thought about this brand before this Big Bang coming out.

I love this watch, but the movement is likely to be unreliable.

I'm not sure whether I'm going to go for it, but if there was ever a watch I wanted to 'risk' having break down on me, this might be it.

I'm loving this and the ROO. I could be broke if I bought the watches that are in the pipeline right now.

I've been here for probably not much more than a couple of months now, and it's amazing the difference between the watches coming out now, and even the watches that were available six months ago.

The 28.8k A7750 movement is quite stable to my view, the 21.6k one is less reliable.

Thats a hell of a BB (big baby).

Will be with 7750 Angus ??? Any other versions / combos ???

FLAW ???: well , I am not sure but I believe there is no gold bezel version. Only SS or black ceramic versios.

Yes it is 28.8K A7750, I think there will be other versions.

The supplier said the gold bezel version is a new version which is not available on the official web-site. He will show me a book tomorrow.

  7. Wow!! VERY nice!

I must admit... I'm not a BB fan, but I may just have to get one out of principle...

    Yes you should :-)

The SS version is absolutely brilliant. The AP too....the Breitlings that are out now or soon to be (Steelfish and Evo) are too....oh man.....

I personally like the 2Tone one more ;) The Breitlings are soon to be out (the current evo is the 2nd version, my pics show the 3rd version) :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  8. Side of the bezel should be textured in a criss-cross tire pattern. Still an awesome watch.

Y don't they make 3, 6, 9 subdial of the AP if they can make this hublot look so good?

    I'm interested in the HUBLOT.

No, the criss-cross tire pattern only appears on the ceramic bezel version, not for the RG and SS version.

There is already a manufacturer making the AP ROO, because the movement is not same as 7750, so it is very difficult to replicate.

In case you have not seen the AP ROO pics:

    http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=16197

  9. Don't know the flaws(s)...but that's one dirty looking watch! That drawer must be full of dirt and grease.

This is a sample and it is wore by the watch makekr every day, the new one should not in this way.

    I don't want that 2 tone. I need it!!!

I think the 2Tone one is very nice...

    A Bigger Bang!!!

    :victory:

  10. Today I dropped by the watch maker's place, saw the watch maker was not there (sad :wounded1: ).

His assiatant said he will be back soon, so I went inside and sat down.

Asked any new stuffs for me to take shots today and got an answer "You take a look yourself, I don't know (in Chinese of course :bleh: )", I opened his drawer and saw TWO HUBLOT BIG BANG!! :Jumpy:

I took out the camera and shot them one by one, part by part... My DC heat up like boiling water when I finished :yucky:

The watch maker came back and saw this, he shouted to me and said they are not for picturing yet because they are still samples.

And I said I just took several pics for self enjoy, and he let me go, haha :victory:

I think I will organise a group buy on this and I hope you guys can support my group buy :-)

This is the final sample with only ONE significant flaw, come on you guys specialists, let's see who is the first to point it out :yeah:

  11. Ironic the only place I posted your review was at a forum where you weren't a dealer...

Besides the going broke part, I look foward to future business... just have to remember not to email you when I am tired :p

    Why not?

I can wake you up with some new watch pics when you feel tired :bleh:

Welcome Angus... Now we can discuss the Steelfish some more :)

Sure and let's see if we can break the record

  12. Welcome Angus to the dealer section of RWG :D

I will have to post a couple of reviews of the watches that I recently bought from you...

Folks: I can highly recommend Angus as a top notch dealer :thumbsupsmileyanim::thumbsupsmileyanim:

Thanks! I was asking the RWG Admins about vacancy to come back every week, and today I received an e-mail from the Admin, thanks god I can come back, I must be doing much better than I did before :victory:

I didn't realize he wasn't there before...

He's got my vote... only one transaction with him, but it was as good as I could hope for! :Jumpy:

I am glad to hear about that, thanks!

I am sure we will have more transactions in the future :)

  13. Thanks all for your info, will let the facotry know about it.

@Mark: what do you mean by standard arktos caseback?

@slay: sorry, should be the same as last one, but the quality should be improved, will ask him as well.

@leitztozeiss: This crystal is made according to the genuine one, non-two lens one.

  14. A sample from the factory, really nice.

I have never seen a PAM with correct date mag like this one.

AR coating is nice, I am not an expert on PAMs, any improvement on this beauty is welcome. I can talk to the factory to improve it if possible.

    Enjoy :)

  15. I think there are still some forum members are looking for those ultimate Fiddy with Swiss Swan neck UNITAS movement and sapphire crystal. Now we have Davidsen's crystal with AR and plus the following SUPER UNITAS-6497 movement and you can build your own super ultimate fiddy, PAM111E or PAM183G.

This beauty is modified from Swiss UNITAS-6497 movement, the printing on the bridge is engraved onto the metal instead of a thin piece of metal plate.

Most importantly, take a look on the Swan Neck regulator, it has the fat pin like original!!!

And I also want to clearfy that the Swan neck regulator is FULLY FUNCTIONABLE instead of just a decleration!!

Enjoy the pics and more pics and pricing information are available on the Dealers area under Pure Time section.

    Cheers,

    Angus
