Well, I don't know what I was drinking....

Yeah, I thought Paul sent as a "Birthday gift" complete with card...maybe new Paul doesn't? Andrew usually sends as "gift".
Oh well, another reason for me to hate DHL...arghh
-
@got-it ... greetings from another fellow Albertan!
I have never had problems with customs; but have never used DHL, either. I think this might help...

Look at post #12 on second page.
Good luck!

Wow! Good job! I have andrew's 5513 and was thinking of things to do to it...thanks for the inspiration!
Those little touches add up...very nice work!

The newly bought 45mm PO for me, probably all this week!
Can't get it off my wrist
@Rocket754 ... how? My wife won't even put a watch on her wrist so I can take a pic of it
-
My new PO from Andrew...all weekend!
-
I am right with you...I buy one, my watch box gets full, I want another, wife threatens divorce....
I made a deal with my wife; if the box is full, no more. Unless I sell one. So I sold one
Now I just buy a watch, wear it, sell an old one, buy another...a viscious circle!

A friend was at AD in West Edmonton Mall....no-date sub $5500, LV $8800, 45mm PO $4250 ... cdn prices
-
Lookin' good!

Wow! That's very nice! It is something a lot of us will try to achieve with the vintage subs! Brevet crown is a nice touch.
-
The 186 looks like it has SEL. The only problem with the 187 is that the hands are whiter than the dial...so a relume is a good idea to even them up. The 187 comes with a nice rivetted Oyster bracelet...a nice vintage touch.
Sounds like a fun project...anyone going to bite?

Wow, that sure is different looking! But, it looks like a good alternative to the ever popular SST. Show us some pics when it's done!

5513 for me this week...until PO arrives!

I bought this sub from Silix...
I think the hands are too narrow?
It needs holes drilled, caseback polished, and some "ageing".
Davey did some nice work on his case...can't remember where the post is/was.
The price was right, though!

The deal with Roger Moore is that he brought Bond through the 70's...with those bell-bottomed pants and wide collars, who else could?
I am willing to give Daniel a chance. It's hard to not think of Brosnan as/is Bond, he's has been hyped for Bond since 1986. 20 years is a long time, 10 as Bond, 10 as almost Bond...

I need you to take pics to tide me over until mine comes...
-
Excellent post and very informative! Thanks!

BenWaaaaah....I agree with you too. I am F®olex all the way, I love subs; but I HAD to buy this from Andrew too. It must be the Bond in me.
Thanks for the very informative post...it really helped me out!

That's awesome! I cannot wait for mine now!
Very nice watch and excellent pics! The accessories really make it!
-
I'm not really into Panerai's, but this is one I would wear!
Looks really good!
-
@ Davey....nope, it's definitely ladies size. Must be the funny angle I put the watch at for the pics?

Last time I got something from Malaysia it was 14 business days to my Post Office box in Canada.
The tracking did not work.
Good luck with yours!

Thanks jsph!
It has the Miyota movement..it does gain about a minute a day.
All I can say if you are thinking about it....$108 and free shipping? Done and done!
Andrew is very responsive and easy going...I have had excellent experiences with him (I can't wait for my PO to arrive)!
I have seen Eunomians 5513 in pics before...my inspiration
edited for spelling

At least you got a proper size oring/gasket behind the caseback. Mine was missing a big piece out of it
Other than that, my movement looked fine!
