If I were to do a build now, I'd buy the new 236 and use the case with the current cartel Swiss 7753 dial / movement.

I think this is a keeper (a real keeper, not the regular kind) The tritium still glows!

I was going based off this picture. It looks like pretty decent glow there. I stand corrected. Actually I am relieved because I have a 24a gen dial for mine and I was afraid the lume was going to be too strong on the hands. (pic obviously by bwhitesox)

One could argue that it glows way too much and should be toned down.

Out for a month. Neat app. I wish they made a high resolution ipad version.

Some of the 2836-2 GMT hands fit on the 2893. I had two with the 2836. One hand fit and the other was too big... FYI

The crystal is not EL, this one has more accurate distortion. The dial is a EL V2/3. The crown guard is Gen as is the movement. Thank you for the nice comments.

I mounted the minute and hour hands as well. All works as it should.

The GMT hand was affixed to the GMT pinion before even being installed on the movement, so I know I have the right one.

I guess we are ignoring the fact that I put a 2836 hand on the 2893 and it fit perfectly. (See the picture)

Are you asking because you know or are you proposing that with all the hands on it may not work? I haven't done that yet, but it sure looks like it wouldn't make a difference.

Ok I guess I don't get the joke.

On the right we have a modified 2836. On the left we have a new 2893 from Ofrei. I had absolutely no issue mounting the 2836's GMT hand onto the 2893. Am I missing something?
