  1. Yuki caseback is one of the worst 5514 Caseback
  2. [emoji29][emoji29] IMO that is just completely stupid, why don't you wear the watch everyday and you will have few desk diving marks. Scratching a genuine insert is completely stupid.. That's my 2 cents. Anyway to each his own.
  3. The HR 5517 Milsub dial and hands looks great but the case and thus insert are terrible mate ..
  4. The cartel has 93250 stamping only on the clasp. But now they make 93150 stamping with correct size on the link of the bracelet like on the picture above. Before that the link were sterile. Yuki one is stamped with 93250. The cartel links are still today the best option, 93150 stamping, hollow mid link, brushed sides and can accept gen spring bars. If you add a Yuki 93250 clasp and WSO 580 end links you have a great bracelet Cartel make them now, they improved their vintage cases and especially the crown guards + they are stamping now their bracelet with 93150 ! I don't think Josh will sell it alone but you have to contact him . Here is a picture of my cartel 93150 :
  5. cartel is the best ! just bought one, it is on its way to me, i will send you pics if you wish plus it fit gen springs bars you have to replace the end link by the wuso 580 end links + add a yuki or tc 92150 clasp and you have a great looking bracelet image-cacher
  6. http://www.network54.com/Forum/207593/message/1449020632/Counterfeit+93250+Bracelet+-+Images it looks like a tc bracelet
  7. ERRATUM: Trevor 5513 doesn't even accept a gen like bezel assembly because the crystal is directly retained by the case and the bezel is specifically made for the case: e58d5736c8d1c6c052a9276a30831ff8.jpg this has been modded by the way, i drilled the lugs installed an athaya 702 crown and tube + re engraved the serial number and ref number and beveled the lugs
  8. First you have to note that the 5513 has been the longest submariner in production, and they were a lot of variation, bezel teeth, in case shape, dial, print, Crystal crown and tube and so on, so of course all the retaining ring doesn't have the same size, as I said I had gen sealed parts and didn't fit together. This is why rolex recommend to install them themselves at their RSC because they got tools and can install the need retaining ring. If you have the money you can buy 2/3 gen retaining ring and try which one fits, easy to find on eBay or Chronoshop(but expensive there) this is why a complete bezel assembly avoid fitting hassle.
  9. Hi mate as I told you I had the same issue with my 5514 builds. I bought a genuine service retaining ring from Alberto and a genuine service bezel assembly and when I unpacked them they didn't fit together, so there is a lot of diameter variation on a genuine 5513 retaining ring, so it is a hit or miss. The best thing to do is to find the whole bezel assembly together it can be very expensive for a gen (around 1k ) but avoid the hassle
  10. That is indeed a Josh cartel 5513 (I had dozens of it lol for builds also ) As HH said, I suggest you to catch a 702 Athaya crown and tube, A better tropic 19 with lower some like a service tropic 19 style. Lugs drilled to fit 2mm spring bars and WSO 580. A Better bezel assembly with a gen insert (service insert they are not expensive compared to the fat font etc...) A better dial, The bracelet is IMO already very good but the clasp has an ugly coronet logo so a yuki 93250 clasp or a TC 93250 clasp will do the job if you don't want to spend a lot of dollars on a gen bracelet, An ETA 2846 low beat + gen service tudor hands or TC hands (because of the big Mercedes circle hand !)?
  11. Could you please show me a pic of your 5513 I will confirm you the maker so the bezel construction, because lately I saw a lot of 5513 that has a mon gen like construction with an octogonal spring retaining the bezel to the case and indeed the bezel turns freely with no friction at all and this is impossible to solve that way. But in the case that yours is really a cartel 5513. Then you can put a knife besides the bezel and turn it until you pop off the bezel, then you will have to bend the washer/tension ring which is probably to fat and this explain the fact it rotates freely from the inside to the outside of the washer/tension ring
