Hambone.. that watch looks great!! would take that over a davidsen anytime.... i wore one of those in an AD and they examined it and asked if I wanted to apply it for a trade it.

I disagree with a watch like a panerai the font is soooo important... I would rather have chinese mvt and an nice dial then something I would cringe at everytime I checked for the time. I would rather have a crown that is 2mm too thin than a watch that at a glance looks fake..... The panerai dial is the personality and character of the watch.....to not have it nailed down when others dealers come closer is not acceptable on a higher priced watch. Maybe on other reps I would be more accepting but the pams....no way look how many great reps josh and andrew have...? why would i pay more from some guy unless it was simply better in everyway.

Due to the number of detailed discussions on here about watches and gen vs rep and small details I am SHOCKED some people cannot see this or do not care...?!? the font is wrong, the spacing is wrong and the size is wrong. The color of the font is also wrong. anything else?

NO NO NO NO NO WAY! This font is terrible.....what is the deal with davidsen....why does the attention to detail end with dial print... When he provides the correct font i will be the first in line... this looks like a chinatown dial...

I could not agree more...You have to fit the part. I shy away from reps I could not really afford if I was to stretch my budget as a gen. Also as much as I think the rolexs are great reps I could never bring myself to wear one. Top pusher is very wrong and my question is why? I am curious about the process of designing a rep and why that would be wrong? The two pushers are the same on the gen...that is very easy to duplicate. So did you do it on purpose? and if not why is it wrong? I mean nothing negative with the post but I have always been curious about flaws on these watches and why sometimes fine details are done and then major things ignored. It is a unique oppurtunity to ask why since this is a special project. Seems like you could use the part from the bottom pusher for the top also. So not only is it different but they sort of went out of there way to make it different... how come?
