Just to clear up what has gotten more out of hand than i assumed would. In my original post I just stated I was looking for information and not demanding any watch in any time frame. Was eddie sketchy in emails and not straight forward?.........for sure......no doubt about it. If anyone wants to call me a newbie or tell me I am crazy or over reacting that is fine but the simple fact is I never would have wrote any forum post if I had gotten a straight answer from him or at least one that made some sense. For the record this is my 3-4 order from him and one past order I still have not gotten a working watch. Shouldn't we set an attitude here that we want clear honest transactions? Not justify every little thing they do with excuses and the "good old days" I have seen so many people come to the forums for help with one thing or another and then they get " no way man frankie is the man, he would never do that" kind of responses.....that does not help anyone. I have had a past issues with watches I have not brought to the forums because I knew I would just get flamed......and here again......it has happened.... I guess eddie is the man......he can do no wrong...

"cool it?" how does that help us as buyers.....comments like that give the dealers the freedom to do as they choose... people who ordered watches on the 20th and have no tracking are being mistreated and they should get an update...

Well i paid western union so it has nothing to do with that. Something is up. I do not want to start anything but the emails i have received from him about it have been sketchy at best. Before I sent the money he was responsive and stated it would ship right away. As of now he is not returning my emails. I got such responses earlier this week like "it has shipped" then when I asked for tracking it actually had not but was awaiting "clearance". I asked what clearance meant and he said it had to go through chinese customs and us customs before he could get a tracking number.....we all know that is not true. I would love if someone could comfirm that there watch has shipped. If no one can......we have a problem of some kind and eddie should INFORM us of the status. Things come up but made up answers and not keeping us in the know is not cool. anyone else wonder if there is only one of these watches right now?.....the one in the photo. All i ask for is honest information and I am not demanding my watch by a certain time. When I receive the watch I will be the first to give eddie and the watch a great review if it is as described.

Eddie is now not answering my emails regarding the watch. He has had my money for over 5 days now. does anyone actually have a tracking number for this? People started ordering this on Feb 20th....So I am curious if anyone has any confirmation of shipping. Maybe this watch is not in production stages yet.

I would hold off until someone gets ones.......I paid eddie 5 days ago and he said it would ship monday from tawian before he got the western union and now he is giving me the run around....vague answers and no replies..... I see no one has gotten one yet either... I'll be the first to post a glowing review for eddie and his watch if the thing every gets sent out or actually exists at this point.

Is this going to be risky? Not sure I feel great about giving out that kind of thing to an illegal trade in a place where illegal trades are there specialty.... What do you guys think? chad

Agreed on the big bang...although I love it All the hype with the posts....not mentioning mechanical problems, why go to all that trouble with the case when you cannot print the dial with the numbers and markers lined up.......sad sad sad....

I have seen one in person yes and from a few feet I can tell there is something wrong... This flaw does not take a keen eye. My non-watch person friend wanted a PVD panerai so I showed him some of the davidsen ones online...he RIGHT AWAY asked what was wrong with the dial and said it did not look like the one he had seen at tourneau only ONCE. That the type looked "chinatown"

Just curious what everyone thought.... My vote is for any thing that davidsen makes... The dial fonts are terrible!!!! and the font on the panerai watches is such a key thing in a simple classic dial. I admire his desire to make a better watch but come on... Board members have even scanned dials for him and tried to give him font suggestions to no avail. Others?

Isnt it amazing they went to all that trouble to get the case so nice and the 10 and 20 on the 3 o clock dial are not aligned? I wonder how these people who make these watches think sometimes....seems like they just do not get it...

Oh you mean a simple spike Thanks so do I jab the watch repeatedly with this? How do I do it? and how do I get the rubber strap on after?

Please do not take offense... the 10 and 20 and not aligned....it is not slight, looks like garbage if you look closely to enjoy the dial. Part of being into nice watches is having a special eye for detail and appreciation for it So everytime someone posts to the forum that a MAJOR problem does not bother them or they do not see it I am sure the makers are pleased.......thinking "see they will buy anything! no need to improve!"

To answer my own question ....just looked at a gen and yes they are supposed to be even...the 10 and 20 on the 3'o clock dial. Why in the hell does a mistake like that happen? What is wrong with these people? Do they really have no eye for detail? Why go through all the trouble of making the case if you cannot print the dial correctly. A 13 year old could line up those on the dial. I just do not understand the sloppy trash along side brilliant work from our makers.......... it is a shame...

is this 10 and 20 supposed to be at different levels in the 3 o' clock dial? real shame this guys go to all the trouble to make the case and strap and cannot even get the chrono hands to stay on or all the other quality control problems.... I just do not get it......no pride at all.

I agree 100 percent. Something that was said to me by one of our top dealers after my first order was when I complained about such things and shipping times.... he said " this is an illegal buisness, there are no guarantees of anything"
