  1. I don't know TTK, except for his reputation as a reputable, if somewhat controversial, dealer. However, I fully agree with him on this subject. Continuing to post on a site like RWG 1 contributes toward giving it an illusion of credibility it doesn't really have. I did this and I'm sorry. I got a rude awakening, and I suppose I deserved it. :bangin:

  2. The main problem came from those who refused to see that, ..

what we all had in common, was a love for time, represented

in mechanical form. All else was noise.

Imagine, an unexpected rain storm, running under a temporary shelter, we meet strangers

and smile, forgetting, if only for a moment, that false political programming which keeps us

at odds, we are free to be individuals, sharing a bit of time and space.

You may find however one person in 100, who attired in flags, lost of self, can not help but to

shatter the reality of the moment by shouting slogans, attempting to build news paper

walls of separation, under this little roof, with the rain pelting down outside.....

Well, we left those people behind and moved to another shelter, and there they sit under that

leaking roof, cutting, shooting and spitting at one another, while we are here,

building a full lively community from a simple love of time pieces.

Demsey was one of the few intellectuals with a good heart, if not misguided loyalty,

holding on fast to an illusion of days past, and in essence with those who believe

that you can make a better world, or forum by crossing swords of opposing opinions,

verses growing new bonds from the base of shared commonalities.

Ken, Admin and the Crew, knew this instinctually, thus we have here in solid form, the

promise, the potential, that RWG1 let slip away, like a mirage.

......"Hey, what kind of watch is that you have on ??" ;)

Yes, I reluctantly have to agree with everything said on this thread about the old RWG. I continued to post there until today because I felt that the more replica watch sites we had the better and I liked their graphics. It was stupid of me, and I won't do it again. With the exception of Demsey, who is apparently a highly intelligent person and a gentleman, and perhaps a few others, there are some real vulgarians over there. I was verbally assaulted in the most adolescent manner conceivable by a cretin going under the name of Johnboy777, apparently because I suggested that the reputable dealer they are promoting over there has some very high prices. Demsey tried to intervene in a calm, witty manner, but I'm afraid that what he is doing is encouraging the morons who seem to dominate the site. In any event, they rarely have more than eight or nine members participating at any time and will hopefully soon shut down.

  3. Yes, I felt shock and loss at Ed Bradley's death. I had the pleasure of meeting him twice; once was at the circus in Amsterdam, Holland and the second time was at an Asian art fair in the 67th Street armory in NYC. He handled the burden of celebrity with grace. He was easy to talk to and apparently didn't mind taking time to engage in conversation with anonymous fans.

  4. And btw, why does it seem everyone on the internet has a degree, MBA, etc. etc. etc.? A very small proportion of people in the population have them, but why do the numbers seem to jump dramatically on the interenet? Just a very casual observation, not meant to be a shot at anyone.

So, gioarmani, are you a believer in the Freudian school of thought? You seem to be proving this point very well. (I took one Philosophy and Psychology course in first year university, long time ago)

BTW: I have a Bachelor's of Business Administration, CA Professional Designation and an EMBA, so who am I to talk?

It's not at all surprising that many people on the internet have advanced degrees. I have a Ph. D. The more educated people are, the more likely they are to have broad internet surfing interests and skills. I am 76 years old. Only one of my frinds (outside the academic world) uses a computer, and he is a retired physician.

  5. I was about to order a Breitling Seawolf ETA for $308 plus a $25 shipping charge on Joshua's Perfect Clones web site when I made a quick check with Paul's Wo-Mart site and found the same model for $209 postpaid. The question is are these watches identical or is there a quality difference between Joshua's Seawolf and Paul's. I realize that with Joshua I would get better communication and probably speedier delivery, but would this justify a price difference of $124?

  6. To me it looks like the dealer was busted by Ebay. Look at the auction, now the seller is not a Registered User! :D

And if you look at the buyer's Feedback, you'll see that on August 1st he bought another of these Double Eagle watches from what is supposedly a different seller. :o There seems to be some kind of complicated scam going on here.

  7. I realize it's an old story. Like many others, I sent Big Red Joe (Joe Butts) a watch for repair about four months ago. When I learned he was ill and overwhelmed with orders, I refrained from complaints, although he was apparently well enough to engage in spirited debates on a number of replica watch boards with members who were accusing him of various scams. :black_eye:

Now I no longer hear from him or about him. He does not reply to polite E-mails I have sent asking him to return my wife's Yachtmaster if he is not in a position to repair it. Is anyone else still having similar experiences with Joe?

  8. Once DNS is propagated (24 hours or so), you will.

To be honest, it's not like anyone really wants to go back there, is it? This should be proof enough Blade doesn't have a fscking clue about security (set your domain to be untransferable on purchase, n00b) and you trust him with your personal data?

Before you say you don't have any personal data there, every visit with your login has a datestamp and IP. This is all anyone needs to know who you are and how many illegal replicas you've personally smuggled into wherever you live. Oh, and your paypal details, for instance.

If it returns after this, and it's visited by you lot, you need to seriously cover your tracks.

I don't know the laws governing imports of replicas into the UK, but I'm not aware of doing anything illegal when I buy a replica in the USA.

None of my Papal details are on RWG, so I don't see how anyone can access them because I post on that site.

  9. There's a great deal of elaborate and very fine reasoning here, but the bottom line is that people who sell for $1,000 what many other people are selling for $200 and advertise that they are offering bargains are ripoff artists pure and simple—end of story. :Jumpy::Jumpy::Jumpy:
